I was hunting under a new stand that overlooked a big oak tree. It was dropping lots of acorns so i hunted there. This guy came in running and i barely had time to get ready. He stopped at 11 yards and i smashed his lungs. I just switched to rage broadheads and they are awesome. I shot two does earlier this year with them and they both ran less than 50 yards. I have absolutely no idea how this deer ran 250 yards with both lungs taken out by a 2 inch cut but he did. I am color blind and i could see the blood trail with ease. We tracked him at a fast walking pace, thats how much blood was on the ground. He is really good deer for NC, almost 17 inches inside with 4 inch brows and 8 inch G2s.
