Vanderbilt elk

My wife has a meeting in Gaylord Thursday so I'm going to be tagging along. I'll have a solid four hours to get a hike in. I'll bring along the snowshoes just in case. Hoping someone can put me in an area I may be able to see an elk. I hiked the area around the witness tree last year and saw a lot of sign but no elk.
