Bowhunters of Wyoming is auctioning off a 2023 Commissioner's Tag! Don't miss out on this last-chance opportunity to go on your dream Wyoming big game hunt.

Auction Details: The tag will be auctioned via sealed-bid on April 24, 2023. Bids will be accepted at [email protected] on April 24th from 12 pm MDT until 10 pm MDT. The minimum bid is $20,000 USD. Bidders must include their name, phone number, and exact bid amount in the body of the email. Bids received after 10 pm MDT (as determined by the time stamp on the receiving end of the email) will NOT be accepted.

All bids are confidential and will not be shared. At 7 pm MDT on April 24th (partway through the bidding period), all bidders who have submitted a bid by that point will receive one email informing them if they are or are not the current highest bidder. This email will NOT include the dollar amount of the highest bid. This will be the only communication with bidders during the auction period; there will be no additional emails notifying bidders of their standing after 7 pm MDT. After receiving this email, all bidders may, if desired, submit new bids with increased amounts, with their best and final bid being submitted by 10 pm MDT.

The winner will be announced at 10 am MDT on April 25, 2023, and all bidders will be contacted by email to inform them of the auction outcome.

The winner must pay via certified check, wire transfer, or credit card within 7 days after notification of winning. If paying via credit card, the bidder is responsible for paying additional credit card processing fees.

For questions on the auction please contact Susan Barrett at (307) 655-9405 or email [email protected].

100% of the proceeds from the auction will be used in Wyoming to support wildlife/habitat projects in the areas of conservation, enforcement, access, and education.

This License is valid only for the specific region or hunt area as designated by the successful bidder at the time of application. In addition, once the Commissioner License is issued the specific region or specific hunt area shall not be changed.· The Elk areas 75, 77 and 79, which are located within Grand Teton National Park, also require a Special Park Permit issued by the US Park Service in addition to a Wyoming Game and Fish elk hunting license. Elk hunting licenses cannot be utilized in these areas without this Park Permit. Their Park Permits are only issued on the basis of receiving an elk license through the Game and Fish Department’s limited quota drawings. These licenses are not issued through a limited quota drawing; therefore, applicants should not bid on a Commissioner license if their intent is to hunt elk in Grand Teton National Park.

It is the bidder's responsibility to research and comply with all Wyoming G&F rules and regulations for a Commissioner Tag.
