Got Christmas. There is a reason they call me Red Sparky. Got the definite deer tag, swung for the fence on elk and struck out.

3 of 9 so far, with one app outstanding. Green for rifle cow elk, rifle Barbary, and archery javelina. Better than I've done in quite some time, but I'm really hoping to pull archery cow moose in Colorado next month.

No draw for me this year, again...
I hunted unit 13 back in 1999 when everybody who applied for 13 drew a tag. It was a pretty tough hunt. It's hard for me to believe that 13 is now considered a "premier" hunt.
