I have a bear hide, skull removed, feet intact, fully frozen to be fleshed/prepped/salted for tanning. I also have a lion hide, skull & feet removed, fully frozen. My taxidermist friend basically disappeared off the grid, so I'm debating whether to attempt fleshing & salting myself and sending off for tanning to Moyles, or whether anyone has recommendations for someone in or near ABQ that would do this.
I'm not looking for taxidermy, just tanned hides to hang or use as throw rug. Thx

I've got nothing, but I'll be curious to see if you get any answers. I've got a lion in my freezer right now.

Carl at Mountain Legends in Belen did that for me with a nice winter coyote. I specifically asked him about bear feet for a rug and he said "let me do it."

who was your taxidermist. American wildlife on central might do that for you also.
