Need a little help guys. I drew Unit 17 this fall, only problem is that I thought I drew 24. Don't believe everything you read on the internet (outdated info from 2020). So I have been studying it since May 1st and figured out last Sunday that my tag was for 17. My tag of a life time, so I'm scurrying to figure things out. Any info on where to continue my search, as I have narrowed down some spots. Just general info and how to hunt the area. We drew the first archery season. info on roads and camping and road use would be helpful. Plan on truck camping and moving about if needed. I won't be going to the high and rugged areas due to some health issues I developed 2 years ago. I'm 66 and son in law on first elk hunt. Any help appreciated. Springtime is real good, look for the black storage tank laying vertical on left side of road driving in take the road to the left and glass those hills to the south from the windmill. If you stay on that road it will circle back to main road If you stay on main road lots of glassing spots all the way to luna park. Beware though there are alot of outfitters that set up camp in there for months
