Is anyone aware of smaller sportsman shows in Pa. I like the smaller shows much better than the huge Harrisburg show. I am aware of the Bloomsburg show

There is usually a show in Monroeville ( east of Pittsburgh) in mid February

Here is the flyer for February 16, 17, 18. Pinehill Tradbow guys will be there helping us promote archery and bowhunting with their turkey shoot as well as Chise Bows. UBP will have a booth outside the bow range room. Bring the kids, shoot a bow.

The Monroeville show is great if you are looking for gutters, magnetic bracelets, liquor or pretzel dips.

I had fun last year. It beat sitting in the house for 3 days in a row. It was fun talking and listening to which ever Wentzel brother was there. The show manager is trying. He has a great deal for an archery store for a double space.

The Bloomsburg show, anyone go to it? I never have. How big is it? Number of vendors and how much of it is hunting ?

Last time I did Bloomsburg had to be 10 years ago, when we still set up a range with 3 d targets. It was pretty decent then. I remember trappers having a table. They did have a moon pie stand. LOL.

Thanks Art.

I think I may try it this year. I'll probably go on a Saturday. I'll check back in to see if anyone hit it before Saturday to see how much hunting they have.

For those in Western PA, the Laurel High School has the annual Sportsman’s Night Out on Friday, February 23, 2024 (Doors open at 5:00 PM)

Located at Laurel Junior / Senior High School, 2497 Harlansburg Rd, New Castle, PA 16105

(On PA Route 108, East of New Castle, across from the Lawrence County Fairgrounds)

This annual show is always a nice time. Admission is cheap and there are numerous hunting and fishing seminars / speakers, kid’s activities, raffles, and local club and vendor tables

We had a kids shoot one year there and I bet every student in that school shot a bow that night.
