Not that there is a “good” way to die in a treestand, but this is HORRIBLE! : (

Terrible. Over the past several years I've seen more and more of these elevated blinds. Seems very popular now.

Saw that n the news the day it happened. I have checked and rechecked my line a few times since then.

I talked to a guy in New York and his buddy went to Colorado on a hunt. While there a father in the camp put his teenage daughter in a box blind with a heater and didn't open a window. When he went back a few hours later she was dead. Terrible.

Horrendous Griz! I couldn’t imagine what that father is going thru! : (

A terrible way to go. There's got to be more to this. But, I never understood the heater thing in a blind. So many issues, and potentially dangerous. Condolences to the family.

A braided stainless hose is a safer way to go. Rodents will chew rubber everytime

Jesus H, Griz. I can't imagine how I could carry on. That's messed up. Should never happen.

Think, people. Think 3 steps ahead. ALWAYS THINK AHEAD. Instill common sense, 'thinking ahead', and consequences in loved ones. And tell them you love them while you can.
