Spring 2024 junior turkey

Taking my daughter out for junior openers the 27th and planning on going to Brady’s lake. I’ve gotten into some birds there over the years but thought about give big hickory run a shot. Anyone have input on the numbers of birds at hickory run? Trying to have this year be the year she finally gets some action. Tyia

My buddy’s house boarders Hickory Run. He hasn’t hunted turkeys there for years because of the low population. He is a full time resident there.

There's little pockets of birds in Hickory Run. Nothing like there used to be, though. I stopped hunting there a few years ago from lack of birds.
