Desolation Unit

My group is headed back to the Desolation Unit this year. The past few years we tried Northside and Santiam with no luck. I have read in some older forums that Desolation is always packed with hunters. I think I may see one or two other hunters when we go to this unit. Has to popularity there decreased since it went to Bull only? I have heard the population is up in that Unit. Anyone hear anything else?

Yeah, I love the area over there, plenty of wallows and bedding areas to get into, and a ways off the roads. Just hope the action is up this year, we haven't harvested an animal out of there in 4 years. Gettin that itch!
