Taxidermy poses, full sneak?

I like the recent taxidermy posts. I currently have 3 different bucks I want to have mounted. One bow kill and two rifle kills. The bow kill is from this year, and the rifle kills are from last year, and one from 10 years ago that I didn't have mounted and have always regretted.
I like to have the animals mounted like I remember them. Basically what they looked like when I took my shot or something that sticks into my head about them. For example, my first bow buck is on my wall, a 120 class 8 point. He surprised me. First time I saw him he was at 20 yards in a fenceline clearing and had his head up at full alert, with his ears back trying to scan the sounds. He knew something was up, but couldn't figure it out. That's how I had the mount done, ears back searching, head up
The buck I killed this year is easy. . . I just want a good left turn to show off his massive right side. That is easy, he was relaxed and walking. Easy pose
The buck from 10 years ago is also easy. He ran in to a grunt call, stopped and went on full alert. Head up, ears stretched out, etc. So that pose is an easy decision. Full alert with a left turn, just like he was at the moment of the shot
It's the buck from last year (that I also should have had mounted, but decided not to, and have regretted it) that is hard. He came out onto a power line and dogged some does around. He had his head low like they do when they dog the does. My question is. . . is the full sneak pose an accurate representation of how a buck puts his head low when dogging does?
Any pics of full sneak, or dogging-does poses?
Thanks

That's a good one. . . Never noticed before, but do the bucks pin their ears way back when dogging does? Or are they forward?

They tend to have their ears back from what I've noticed..
I try to mount mine the same way you do, the way I remember them alive. I have 2 full sneaks, one is normal with ears cocked back, the other is nose tipped up slightly with ears cocked back. I will take pics and post them later.
This is one from last year....hope it helps.
Hers a semi-sneak with the ears back . Hope it helps .
this one's nose is tipped up a little, ears cocked
I have a full sneak, and that is my only regret - that I didn't have the ears laid back instead of normal.
Thanks for the pics guys. And great bucks!
I think I like the nose tipped up a little, and I do like the cocked back ears like 12points pic. Also think I'll do straight forward, no turn

Here are a left and right turn on the same form, and also a wall pedistal in the center.
5575, Which manufacturer's forms are those 3 from. Very nice looking deer. Rob
a couple of pics of one of mine in a full sneak
here's one I did full sneak...
not the biggest, but I was young and it was memorable
like you, I like to mount them how I remember them, this guy was "sneaking" right under my stand for quite a while until he gave me a shot
I used the real front teeth on this mount, as to depict a grunting buck. I shot this deer as he was following a doe as she walked by the stand. I have never heard a buck grunt like this big guy was. It was solid grunts with every step.
he looks like and old battle scarred warrior !!!!!
thewoods - 5575's sneaks look like Meder forms carried by McKenzie and the pedestal looks like a McKenzie.
Mountain man has it right!
Be aware that a full sneak for a decent buck will stick out from the wall about 30".
Deer on left full sneak. Deer on right semi sneak offset shoulder with nose down. Be careful how high you put a full sneak. You should be able to see the top of his snout, if not he is too high.
Bake: Deer on left is full sneak. Did you buy your own hunting land yet???
Nice deer everybody.
Charlie. . . haven't bought my own hunting land yet. I've got my eye on several different places. A couple of which will probably sell in the next 5-10 years.
In fact, need to ask permission to hunt one of those places. Real nice older lady will probably give permission.
It's never ending. . . always thinking about access, permission, hanging sets, daydreaming, etc.

Sounds like a full sneak or semi sneak with the flehmen nose replacement.
Sorry for the bad pic, but here's mine.
No monster but a special trophy. 2 1/2 hr- 150 yard stalk. Shot in the bed a 4 yards. No its not a bullet hole in the wall.
