If Ron Paul isn't the nominee then It doesn't matter who wins.I think Obama will win unless Ron Paul in the nominee.

DogSoldier... you are kidding right? Ron Paul ?

From: Dogsoldier
11-Dec-11
Well you have to understand obama and the others are on the same team.So it doesnt matter if its newt or obama.Obama will beat newt or romney though but either way their on the same team.

I wish the next president would be a conservative Republican, but it may be Romney instead.

From: HA/KS

obama 50/50

The other 50 is evenly split between Romney, not Romney, and a dark horse selected at an open Republican convention.

IF "O" is ellected 'again'....We are ALL in trouble and I hope ALL the "O" voters suffer greatly.....I am DEAD SERIOUS! Those that vote, or voted in the past for "O", deserve a terrible life and a slow grueling end! For THE END will be ahead.......For us All As Americans! ... So Debate Free ... ??

NEWT I hope....he's 'smarter' than all the rest combined, even though he does have some faults! But any of the "6" (now) are better than "O" !! "O" is NOTHING!...and sad American voters put him there! JMHO

Hillary Clinton.

The economy will worsen due to the European meltdown. Spending and lack of budgetary control will make the US follow a similar path.

Obama is toxic. Mooch is "allegedly" having an affair and tired of Obama's gay guys. The "living-low" couple will end their marriage in a manner such that even the OPNS® won't be able to keep it sequestered.

Hillary will be the salvation of the Democrat Party and will appear to be the "moderate" in the election, no matter who the Republicans nominate. The Republicans will continue to beat themselves up leaving a media selected McCainish candidate who has no chance campaigning against both Hillary and the media.

Obamification will continue as planned as Hillary will select more SCOTUS judges that will legislate from the bench.

He has the most unconstitutional record on the stage. So not the smartest in my book.

RK, remember Thomas Dewey? He was the Mitt Romney (or Newt Gingrich) of his day. A RINO republican; a moderate who wouldn't frighten voters with 'extreme' conservative views. He was polished. Popular. And nobody gave Harry S. Truman, a plain spoken hayseed from Missoura, a chance. In fact, they reacted to Truman the same way people react to Ron Paul. So assumptive were they, that they published the results ahead of time in the now famous newspaper headline: Dewey defeats Truman. That's why I've not counted out anyone of the top three in this primary. Newt, Mitt, or Ron, it's anybody's race. And any of the three can beat Obama.

Truman decided to drop the bomb on Japan. What would Paul do?

From: Owl

He'd drop a bomb on Washington DC.

I'll be voting for Ron or nobody. Most of you on this site will call it a wasted vote. Voting for anyone one else in my view is a waste of time.

12-Dec-11
In all honesty, I was hoping HC would stick it out... I am afraid that o will get re-elected because the repubs have NO ONE..

I like Ron Paul, but do not feel he is electable (if that is a word).

12-Dec-11
I agree with Solo, it will be somebody other than Obama but too early to call who that will be.

From: Dogsoldier
12-Dec-11
Well I really believe obama will win.

BHO can't be the NEXT President...he will continue as President if (God forbid it) he is re-elected. And IF he is...I fear there will be no NEXT President. Somehow, someway he will fundamentally change the election process and end up dictator.

Newt. He is not PC like the rest in Washington. He says it like he thinks. We do not need another PC politician like Romney even though Romney's heart is in the best interest of America. Pauls domestic policies are right, but his foreign policy of isolation would be against America's best interests. Newt's policies would support our friends and give notice to our enemies. I like them all, just believe that Newt is the best qualified.

The person that will win is the person with the most electoral votes. That's my prediction and I'm sticking with it.

ABO. Simple.

Of the current group with a legitimate shot, I'd vote Newt before Romney. I'll vote Romney if that's all I've got. The rest of the pack is looking like they have no legitimate shot at it IMO.

I think Newt would take Obama. Not sure about Romney, maybe 50/50. Maybe. Whoever runs has to have no fear about calling Obama out in the street and making him wet his pants.

I'm no fan of Newt, but everyone will forget his past when they see him publicly make Obama look like an incompetent leftist commie fool. Newt can control and direct the topic or message like no other, no matter how the media tries to steer it. He has shown already he can make them look like fools, blow right by them at will. They are ruduced to simply reporting it as it happened, at least as it happens. Romney will stand there and take it like a rat. And will throw punches at Obama like a girl.

I'm not a Newt fan. He is likely a genius.... but then so is a mad scientist..... But he will beat Obama in an election.

Vote who you will in the primary, that's exactly what it is held for. In the election for President then rally around whoever it is that wins it.

If there is a 3rd Party and you vote for it, it's simply a vote for Obama pure and simple. If he wins you have to live with the knowledge you helped put him there. I won't..... can't do that.

So..... I guess my answer right now of the current crop.... is Newt..... Not that I want him, but it's like choosing a war general.... you don't have to like him, you just need him to win the damn war....

One dem poll in Iowa, dog. However, do not be surprised if RP wins Iowa because of how it is organized. The most persistent candidate (and supporters) tends to win the Iowa caucuses.

It will be the last time you see RP in the top 2 unless everyone else drops out.

God I hope it is Ron Paul. I want a complete shake up of the whole system, and he is the only one that is running that will have a hope of changing the system that has become the hell that exists. I agree that there is little to NO difference to the others running.

That second photo needs to be transposed to the leader as well, jack. lol

Spike is right. The GOP, by virtue of its own licentiousness, has relegated itself to 3rd party status should a reasonable limited government ticket present itself.

After Ron Paul I'll be voting straight libertarian And so will most of his supporters. The libertarian party will be growing for sure.

From: HA/KS

Tate, I give a 50% chance it will be obama and a 50% chance it will be someone else.

Ron Paul supporters tend to be quite dedicated and participating in the caucuses takes more effort than just voting, so his supporters are more likely to put in the effort in Iowa. Thus, I predict that Ron Paul will do well in Iowa.

From: Owl

Dogsoldier, a week or two ago I heard Hannity refer to himself as a libertarian...

I almost threw a brick through the TV. There is a minority of folks who will always remain die hard independents but I would not dismiss a full scale co-opting of libertarians and tea partiers as the movement grows.

Tate, I feel obliged to occasionally watch Fox the same way I check in on HuffPo and CNN.
