Ignored by the media is the fact that the roots of all this occurred during the GM bailout when Obama's people (the ones with only community organizing politics and Black History degrees) were making much of the GM policy decisions.
BTW: with all the government rebates/incentives and media promotions, only 58000 Volts have been sold. Another success.
