Just a slight correction..
The race was the Beijing Marathon. Beijing is on the mainland and is over 1200 miles by air from Hong Kong.

Feel for the runners, As I look out my window I see the same thing, but the smoke/haze here is because the Forest Service is doing a controlled burn right behind my house. Hope the wind shifts or I am going to head to the nearest watering hole.
Really feel for those trying to run in gas mask. Had to wear one for 4 hours for training and the next day my chest muscles were sore, its hard work breathing with one of those things on.

The runners had to breathe it for 2-6 hours. The 11 million who live there have it 24/7/365.

And to just think, the billions obama has spent on "green" energy would negate at most a few hours of Chinese energy pollution. What it has done, though is cost trillions to the US economy.
Vote green, so our economy will sooner be pushing up daisies.
