A Shameful Piece Of History

This is an amazing and touching story about what one man did. Had to break a few rules and laws but what a humble Hero. The shameful part I'm referring to is our Countries response. Party of Compassion?? Go ahead and spin this.
Dl, the link didn't show up.
DL's Link
It's embarrassing to know that the US didn't want to take in any of those kids. They ended up as part of Hitlers final solution.
So the democrat socialist hero FDR refused to save the children. Democrat leftists are still in that business only now they not only refuse to rescue them, but assist in the murder.
Eisenhower was asked to bomb the death camps to put them out of business. He refused, but did consider it.
DL, if I remember right the Americans did liberate the death camps. But you know there's one political party that just flat out refuses to stop killing unborn children.
"Says the man that wants to stop Mexican children from entering the US."
Good one doc....I'm laughing pretty hard at this one.
How many you plan on adopting dockeating? Or like a typical liberal you only want others to pay for your generosity.
"Keeping in mind my salary, the size of our home and the capacity to feed, clothe and educate a child," So your generosity is based on how much extra you have over what you need, not on mercy for the needy kids.
That's certainly taking the moral high ground.
In knew FauxDoc would go there. There's a very large difference between what hitler was doing to the Jews and the Hispanic hoards coming across the boarder for freebies. If you don't know the difference go find a synagogue and tell someone there it's the same thing. Not surprised you'd try to compare it. Your just on here to spread your moronic philosophy.
"My wife and I always said that if we weren't blessed with children of our own, we'd adopt 100%. Keeping in mind my salary, the size of our home and the capacity to feed, clothe and educate a child, I'd be open to adopting 2/3 children."
So your excuse is you can only afford 2/3 of a child yourself and more would be an undue burden. Do you think your situation might be analogous to a nation being forced to adopt millions of another nations children?
Don't kid yourself, your beloved Democratic Party leaders couldn't really give a rats ass about the unfortunate pawns coming north from Central America. Certainly they care no more than the Chamber of Commerce types care about anything other than cheap labor and profit margins.
My son and his wife wanted to adopt a baby but were told they were too old. My son is 44 years old. They spent two weeks in China and adopted a little girl. She is a real cutie pie and is loving her life in the USA. I can even understand some of the stuff she tells me on the phone now.
No one here is anti-immigration. If anything, we are the ones who want the border closed and doors open, so to speak. We are anti- illicit immigration.
The central planners pretend to be helpless and the likes of dock enable them by parroting nonsense. Maybe Dock will get another doctorate. In false equivalencies.
Doc, tell me who is trying to exterminate the children coming across our southern boarder. I'll wait ...
"Any sensible person would evaluate what resources they have in order to provide APPROPRIATELY for a child. THats not selfish, its called being smart."
I couldn't agree more.
Our wages have been stagnant for 30 years, meanwhile we continue to ignore a huge influx of cheap laborers and welfare recipients, do you think there might be a correlation?
Shhh, Steve! Don't upset the leftist.
Any sensible person would evaluate what resources they have in order to provide APPROPRIATELY for a child. THats not selfish, its called being smart.
Well that is unless they happen to be one of those people you cite so frequently when you argue for a "living wage"; as if they shouldn't be chastened for in your words not being in a position "to provide APPROPRIATELY for a child" yet having them anyway, consequences be damned.
You argue that in your case you're not being selfish but smart by not taking on a responsibility you're not equipped for while talking out the other side of your mouth about people who don't employ the same level of common sense and personal responsibility.
You know what the difference is? In your case the financial burden would be borne by you; so, as if by magic, you suddenly can conjure up a sense of personal responsibility when it's your "skin in the game".
Your new found responsibility however makes a quick exit when the financial burden will be shouldered by someone else; in your eyes the perfect target of which is all those mean, evil, hating conservatives and their undeserved financial status.
You are the perfect definition of a hypocrite.
one doc Jockey, that stretch was awesome!
you have incredible talent
Doc. Not that you care but Rick Perry Never was behind any effort for arming the good old boys and putting them on the border. All of those efforts were done by private citizens and were epic fails
Rick Perry did call up the national guard to send to the border (which was obamas duty that he neglected)
In spite of your PHD you seem to lack the skill to vet most of your views. You are basically a sound bite, drive by sort of guy. If it fits your agenda of course
Since you can afford 2/3 of one child at this time and partitioning people is generally frowned upon, perhaps you could put your money where your mouth is and WRITE A CHECK OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT. Maybe some of your friends can pony up as well.
You need not wait for government directives. Take independent action.
If you've seen the story, Winton, a capitalist, did something. He made a difference.
"Old Sarge, I do believe there was a movement in Texas to arm the good ol boys and man the border. I also believe that one Rick Perry was all in favor.'
So you think they're planning to exterminate those kids or just turn them in ti ICE or simply turn them away at the border?
No offense intended, but you seem to have a real problem with critical thinking, Doc.
RK...doc is the perfect example of how one can purchase most anything on eBay these days, even PhD's in cutandpaste!
