Posted this on the Ferguson thread but thought it deserved its own. This Sheriff Clarke is supposedly a registered democrat. I think I would vote for this guy.

Yes he run as a democrat as milwaukee county historically votes pretty much along democrat party lines with out regard to candidate views. One of his ads this past election be mention to voters to be sure to vote on his side of the ballot for him but the other side for govonor In years past he ran ads encouraging the citizens to buy guns as first line of response as 911 call response could be to late Ya there's a D behind his name but his views and action are more conservative than a lot of self proclaimed conservatives He a breath of fresh air of common sense

The prosecutor in St. Louis county is also a democrat I have voted for him many times. The only democrat I have ever voted for I believe.
I like the sheriff too...but I am pretty much pro law enforcement.
