trublu, it hasn't, and that was the point. the strategy as posted on the CF many times is vote for the most electable R (their words, not mine), regardless if they are liberal and do not support conservative values. afterwards, they hold them accountable with phone calls or emails (again their words, not mine).
boner and mcconnell publicly stated they vow to defeat conservatives. since they are R's, the expectation some still have is for conservatives to continue to support them, rather then be a "ball taker".
