The first Blue St to legalize the evil weed. And done by young Republicans ... the old Hippies could never get it quite done.

Yes, they were too stoned all the time. Now the whole state can be stoned.

And if they keep letting muslims in a whole bunch more will be stoned in the real sense of the word.

Muslim's have been in Alaska for many years. In the SE Cruise Ship industry on shore. Arabs & Indians (Punjab) own the majority of the touristy type (jewelry, alaskana, etc) stores in all SE Cruise Ship ports.

Nothing new. They have always been good neighbors and pay big $'s into the local coffers.

But now, muskeg, you are gonna have dopehead muslims with their hookahs filled with whacky weed, stumbling all over Portage, Anchorage, Ketchican, etc.

A game changer, just look at what has happened to Colorado.

The CS Monitor has a good article on it today ...

This time, an unlikely coalition of libertarians, individualists and small-government minded Republicans helped legalize recreational marijuana last fall.

****** Why did a conservative state take a decidedly liberal position on marijuana?

Although it is a Republican stronghold, Alaskans are known for their rugged individualism and libertarianism.

"This is a conservative state, but it's a state with a heavy libertarian streak," Bickford said. "People here generally want to be left alone and really don't think the government is the solution to their problems," Taylor Bickford, a spokesperson for the Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol in Alaska, told Vox News. ******
