Here we go again! Just wanted to make sure everyone is aware.
The second American Revolution is on it'a way.
Eric Holder Doesn't know what truth is letaloan what the majority of Americans Think!
Pretty much what you would expect from the POS in the whitehouse. Since he is there illegally to start with , he can go to hell! Everything he has done is illegal... therefore it is all null and void in my opinion. I have no intentions of complying with any of his bullshit!
You have to ask yourself is this an excuse for 0 to declare marshal law. If we all go nut's and start a sec. revolution? Or do we just let it go and ignore him! I think that's the worst thing that could happen to 0 is him not to be the center of attention!
Remember the TBVIECians told us Obama wasn't after our guns. Don't ban the guns, go after the ammo. They must be so proud.
This BS on the M855 ammo has driven price up $.16 a round already.
As I checked today, I was astonished to see it up to $.049 p/r. Most of my normal bulk suppliers already out of stock. Get it while you can.
I saw little choice but to bite it. Since I am now employed again, got another 2000rd order on the way.
Fokers!!
So buy sniper equipment. It only takes one bullet to do the job.
God bless, Steve
And we all know it isn't going to stop with this one particular round! Seems to me the right to keep and bare ARMS includes ammunition. Which means this bullshit is also unconstitutional and ILLEGAL!!!
That's right SB. Plan on stocking up some more .308 NATO surplus too.
There is no rule of law in this country. Fock 'em.
I'm just a little bit pissed. Can ya tell? %)
You're not the only one Narly!
Wake up dude! Pay attention to what's going on and read a little. You're not going to get a clue by watching MSN!
We have a history of gun and ammo bans dating back to 1934. You are an imbecile Sybil.
"There Will not be any ban on any guns or ammo. Do you guys get this from a conspiracy book? This is just like the rumors about death panels, FEMA camps etc etc."
Coming from a guy in New York. lol
Clueless.....and living right in the middle of it! Pretty much explains what's wrong with this country!
Sixby, already have several sniper platform rifles.
Heck w/ that. As soon as I can scrape together 25K, I'm getting a Ma Deuce. Will register it in trust.
Think I'll call it the Cowboy v. Commie Trust. Catchy, huh?

"There Will not be any ban on any guns or ammo"
see conspiracy book at link (it was written by the BATF)
before you jump up to defend your stance and what is written, re-read both your claim and the proposal at link
also, keep in mind what some other countries are now 'allowed' to own for 'sporting'
HV,
From the article:
"The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives this month revealed that it is proposing to put the ban on 5.56 mm ammo on a fast track, immediately driving up the price of the bullets and prompting retailers, including the huge outdoors company Cabela’s, to urge sportsmen to urge Congress to stop the president."
As Mason said in the movie "The Rock", "Personally, I think you're a ****ing idiot."
Why pay anyattention to heshit Sybil? He's a liar without any credibility just like his President.
They HAVE TO lie. If they told the truth about anything they'd never get anything passed.
Its just getting the ATF to change a couple words around to ban a complete class of bullet. The law is supposed to restrict armor piercing bullets composed of a solid steel core. These M855 bullets have a steep insert in tip, and with a stroke of the pen Obama can move these into the armor piercing designation and instantly restrict them too.
Its all just chipping away at 2nd amendment rights, when the intent of the 2nd amendment has always been to protect arms common in use and suitable for service in the militia. These AR's and service grade ammunition!
Around here the losers that camp out at the stores get all the .22's. There hasn 't been any on the shelf for people that work all week for the last 3 years here. They get a pallet in, and then send out a flyer for a special sale. It's all bought up by the "campers" shortly after the store opens. Raised hell with Gander over this practice last week . Suggested the next pallet they got in ... no advertising , and trickle it onto the shelves . No mass SALE! Maybe then those who actually work can run across a box occasionally!
I read about this on fox 40 minutes ago....ran and I mean gunned it to walmart. I was alone at the gun counter and picked up there only 2 500 rd 556 federal ammo cans. ..they still had a large amount of 20 rd boxes.
Within 5 minutes of me paying there was six people in line for 223 or 556.
By the end of the night you will not be able to find ammo for the ar outsode of 308.
Hurry up and buy!!!!!
I just spent over $500 bucks at cabela's on ammo and I reload a lot and usually do not by spare ammo...but the supply is back. They have lots of EVERYTHING except .22 ammo. Interestingly I couldn't find any for my old marlin .35 Remington either.
I just bought about a 2 year supply of gun powder and primers for reloading as well.
Yeah... no gun powder around here either. Though I did find an old can of Herco I squirreled away in the 70's . It's all I have left! Guess it will go bang in something!
See how it starts? Make a move on ONE particular round of ammo and ALL of that caliber will dissapeer. My wife checked for .22 at Fleet Farm today ( I gave up long ago) ... The piles of .223 of ALL bullet types they had last week ... were down to very little of anything. I hope this dosn 't bleed over into everything else again . We were just getting to where the other calibers were showing up .
" watch all the .223 ammo disappear off the shelves once again...even the more expensive hunting rounds will be gone in a flash..."
Already happened!
And when SHTF gets underway all the ammo hoarders will be the first to pee thier pants and run. Lots of good it does to brag about you're piles of ammo when your a chickn shit and won't stand up for your rights. I thought I saw my last firefight in '70.... I'm betting not! And I'm sure not gonna back down from the next! ....and I won't be using a piss ant .223 either!
With all due respect, Pat, yes we do realize it. And we do see the oppression in states run by liberals.
We've got both eyes open just like Conservatives in blue states did when it happened to them.
But like them our power is limited to the voting booth; and, as is true in so many states, the urbanites outnumber us. Charleston and Columbia, full of liberals, can out-vote the rest of the state.
Our state just passed a law severely limiting the 2nd Amendment rights of a person who has had a restraining order placed upon them in Domestic Violence cases. No arrest, no conviction, no jail sentence, ......just a restraining order....which can be obtained by any sharp talking lawyer in one hour.....on anyone!
And we are one of the reddest states in the "union".
Like here in Minnesota. A blue spot on the map surrounded by red! And they reelected all the same dumb asses in the midterms. The whole state is dictated to by the libtards in the Twn Cities! The rest of the state is pretty much rural America. But that don't count! We ARE well armed... and we know what's going on!
TRUST ME, there's a boatload of us been watching this coming for decades. I've been called a fanatic and a hoarder for much of that time. Banging on the table for people to wtfu.
Most hunters I know gave a shat less two decades ago about protections for tactical shooters. Nobody needed nuthin' but a huntin' rifle. Guess what, their awake now. Have you been following tactical weapons sales. What do you think these backdoor ammo bans are a result of? That's right, the exploding popularity of these platforms and the fear their days are numbered. Many are not going to go quietly into the abyss and I will stand with them.

"Like here in Minnesota. A blue spot on the map surrounded by red!"
Not exactly...Here's a blue red by county map of Minnesota for the 2014 mid term senatorial elections..
Minnesota is pretty much purple imo..Hennepin county (Minneapolis) is solidly blue, Anoka county is red however... iron range is mostly blue.. there is diversity. And why shouldn't there be?
Couple of observations.
What Pat said is absolutely true about upstate and western New Yorkers. About 18 years or so ago, I met one of them. A little jewish guy by the name of Bob Glass. Met him on the gun show circuit. He moved from NY to Colorado and started Palladin Arms in Longmont. He also published the Patriot Magazine, "The Journal of the American Freedom Fighter". He was offered the Libertarian candidacy for Governor of Colorado. I was glad to have met him and call him friend. Bob also was the founder or the TRT (Tyranny Response Team). Chapters sprung up across the country trying to get the word out about tyranny in it's many forms, not just the 2A. During that time, I listened to pirate patriot radio stations, many of them emanating from western NY. It's all gone by the way side as so many liberals and conservatives alike discredit them as conspiracy theorists and worse. Shame on them.
Secondly, Bluedog, nothing against racial or political diversity. So long as it isn't used as a weapon to strip the governed of their rights. I trust you already know that listening to your experiences in life.
Narly...the University of Minnesota just did something a couple days ago that is hard to fathom..
description of suspected rapists on campus will no longer include race of suspect.....
Huh...
edited..."rapists" not "racists"!
Sadly Nar, there's STILL a lot of hunters who don't see the danger and think that, "Oh, it's just AR ammo and it won't effect my deer rifle", and who actually think that the 2A is about HUNTING!!!
How in the name of stale donuts do you wake them up??
I was a teenager in the 60's when the first anti-gun laws came out and at that time the lying Democrats of the day who were pushing them (Ted Kennedy for one...) were emphatic that these laws were NOT going to bother or effect hunters or other legitimate gun owners.Fast forward 50 years later and so far EVERY one of their unconstitutional gun laws have done nothing BUT effect hunters and other legitimate gun owners!
50+ years of out and out lies and they still are at it. They've learned how to modify it...."I believe in the individual right to keep and bear arms BUT,(there's always a "BUT", and this is where the lies start) no one should be able to own or possess such and such a gun/caliber because they look evil"...or some other bullsh*t nonsense.
blue: Are you kidding??? That is beyond stupid. What's next, no height or weight/build? After all, we don't want to discriminate against tall/short/fat/skinny people!
WW..it's true ...
(a non PC cynic, trying to be funny, might suggest it was a coach's idea..)
Blue dog.... That's interesting! Never seen it broke down by counties. Amazingly I'm in a red spot .....albeit surrounded by blue... which I find hard to believe... as here you have to go to the sheriffs office and fill out paperwork, and go thru a background check just to get a permit to purchase a gun! Then go through the background check again when you do! Every year you have to go through the same crap to renew your " permit to purchase". I'm putting mine to good use so far this year. Problem here is the blue is still dictating to the red! Although.... After last years attempt at introducing more egregious gun control laws , the governor stated he would not sign anything that the majority of his rural constituents were opposed to....Or something to that affect..... So MAYBE there is a glimmer of hope!
The blue will always dictate to the red.
As long as the big metro areas remain blue. I'm not willing to move back to the city to prove the point, I just accept as fact.
SB...I suggest going through trouble of getting a Carry permit...then you can fast track a purchase in minutes...and you can carry in your truck of course...
When i first moved back here after 26 years in Arizona, i was pulling my boat out at a small lake.A warden was there and we struck up a conversation. he admired my old 3 screw Ruger that was sitting on the transmission hump. The he asked me if I had a "Carry permit".. I said "a what permit? he explained the rules and i honestly told him I didn't know that.
Sooo I scheduled and spent 80 or 100 bucks for a 5 year permit..silly but it's the rules of the game..
The Chief of police of a town was the instructor..after the class there was a keg..and we got talking..I wouldn't refill my beer until he did...which finally made him laugh.
Oh..about 70 in the class and after we'd went to a gravel pit and shot, and listened to the small talk.. I damn near reconsidered my thoughts on 2nd amendment.. about half were real goofs.. Then I figured that was another good reason to be armed.. ;)
Damn expensive to get a carry permit here! I'm on pretty limited income since I had to retire. My wife is seriously considering it and knows the local instructor personally. Her problem is,all she has is a .22 Sig... and no ammo! But I think you 're right.... We BOTH need our carry permits!
HOLD THE PRESSES!... I was wrong Bluedog.... I had to actually look at a map. I'm in a BLUE county pretty much surrounded by blue. I KNEW IT!!! Dumasses....
Btw SB.. if you need powder check JJ's in Crosby. He's right on main street.. He always has some of the most common. He's got Russian primers too which are reasonable priced and I've had good luck with them.
If you go there ask him if he has any magazines for an M14. If he still has them ask him about the guy who sold them to him. ;) (they were originals, army issue, from 1967 Vietnam)
SB... you do realize I'm "bluedog" not "red dog"? LOL
You in Crosby Bluedog? I was in Grand Rapids for several years. Now near Rochester after ten years in Montana. Should have never left there... but my father was ailing... I got stuck here. Still have cousins up on the Iron Range. Can 't even afford to go up there fishing anymore!
SB..not in Crosby.. down near Onamia south of Mille lacs. I thought you were up around Brainerd and hackensack.. Dunno why I thought that..
I ran across that permit thing after I came back here from Montana. Went to buy a gun...." Do you have your permit to purchase "? ...SAY WHAT? .... In Montana the NICS forms went directly in the circular file. I knew the sheriff well in that town, he pretty much said screw the government! Course it IS Montana!
BLUEdog...he,he..... I DID go to highschool in Brainerd! We moved out to a lake and I did my senior year in Pillager .... down the road a piece from Brainerd. Those were the good times! A teenager living in the woods on a lake! Didn 't have much of a social life though! Ha!
My uncle had a place on a lake near Hackensack. You're almost, sorta, kinda psychic... in a roundabout way! Small world!
"That's because they passed a law that requires only residents who have a CCP, or some special BS class certificate to buy AMMO now in CT."
You can't purchase ammo over the internet and have it shipped to your home?
Thanks gflight. That's a BS law. Let's say for example a person drove to TX to visit. While he was here he bought ammo. Then carried it back to Conn. How they gonna know? Do they check cars for ammo at the state lines?
"There Will not be any ban on any guns or ammo"
Green tipped 5.56s will be illegal by executive order. I'd call that a ban, moron.
Oh and another thing, Hoytvector. Look around the site, genius. It's a hunting site. You picked a target bow as a name. Thought you'd fit in. Next time you troll, study the nuances of the site before you pick a sobriquet (that means nickname), stupid.
NJ has the Florida CC holders names and pulls them over w/prejudice when rolling through tunnel.
At first only permission slip holders will be checked.
Expect more as technology and registration gets more prevelant...
"Do they check cars for ammo at the state lines?"
They do check rent a cars for illegals in Yuma Az.
Oh yeah....don't make any wisecracks about having any Mexicans in your trunk.
Tends to piss off the border patrol.
Not that I know this first hand or anything.....LOL!!!!
Trolls, lying POS.... whatever fits the situation best.
And they wonder why no one believes a single thing they say......
They lie to further their cause. And having no honor, morals or standards it seems to not bother them in the least.
see: "There Will not be any ban on any guns or ammo. Do you guys get this from a conspiracy book? This is just like the rumors about death panels, FEMA camps etc etc." Just more lies to hide their goals.
Funny... same thing is forgiven in the holy book of the folks trying to kill us right now....
TD: it's called harfing...a new entry into the American lexicon.
Spike,
Remember, "A waste is a terrible thing to mind."
The shelves around here are pretty much cleaned off...lol. Just last week I bought a few rounds for practice and plinking. You can't .22's anywhere. You have to wonder if this administration gets a clue. Every time they open their yaps, they are instantly putting millions of more rounds of ammo and thousands of more guns in the hands of the public.
Is this some kind of tactic, or plain stupidity?
It dosn 't work too well for those that work all week when the loser hoarders all camp at the stores and buy it all up in one fell swoop! As far as a tactic or stupidity?..... I'm voting stupidity.... a special kind of stupid! We know how good they are with tactics!
I am still angry that Americans need a government permit to carry firearms at all, concealed or open carry.
Why do we need a permit to exercise our constitutional rights?
"Why do we need a permit to exercise our constitutional rights?"
That is exactly why, instead of a Concealed Carry Permit, I simply carry a copy of the Bill of Rights. I refuse to spend my time and money to obtain something I already have.
I realize that I may very well have to tell this to a judge. So be it. I will happily pay the fine and ask the judge to convincingly refute my argument.
"Obama to ban bullets by executive action"
And in other news:
"Obama to ban Liberty and Freedom by executive action. Liberals Cheer!"
Coming soon to a country near you.
Some states have no laws against carry...open or otherwise. Mostly western states. Montana is one of them. Wish I was still there. EVERYONE carried for the most part. Every truck in town had uncased firearms in the window rack. Never any problems with criminals either!
What pisses me off is that I know a lot of people with these guns and I haven't seen anyone of these people give a crap.
Dog.... It was the fad of the year. They got over it!
Hi Jack SB, I remember reading an account in one of Elmer Keiths' memoirs in which a couple of Eastern tough guys attempted a store robbery. The citizens resisted, one of the guys made it to the train, shot full of holes, and the other holed up in a hotel room, which the citizens ventilated until he gave up the ghost... No charges were pressed, no outrage expressed in the local tabloid either. Times certainly have changed.
Google the "Northfield, Minnesota raid."
I think Obama is nervous one of these rounds might connect with him someday, that's why he's banning it by executive order...well, that and he doesn't know how to do anything legislatively or diplomatically.
Or CAN'T do anything legislatively or diplomatically.
Doesn't know how WW. Other Presidents have passed legislation they favored even with stiff opposition.
Northfield MN huh? Wonder if one of those citizens was Bluedog's great grand-daddy... ;)
"Wonder if one of those citizens was Bluedog's great grand-daddy... ;"
Naa those were German immigrant squareheads I think.. bullheaded stock..
My daughters are the first generation born in Minnesota..I was born in Oklahoma...before that my kin were from Missouri... Montgomerys and Youngers on one side.. guess i did have a couple great uncles that dabbled in banking.. ;)
I suspect most of us have had ancestors on both sides of these type of situations.. One of my grandfathers was even a Democrat! ;-)
Cole Younger was a college educated "banker" as I recall.
They still make 'em like that. Difference now is they work inside the bank instead of freelance.
Interesting Bluedog.. My wife is related to the Mo. Youngers on her mothers side. Guess that's why we get along so well.... We're both outlaws! You can STILL see bullet damage in the brick walls of the Northfield bank. Old distant cousin Cole got to spend quite a bit of time in Minnesota... At Stillwater!
Did you guys see he already banned the AK47? Google that.
That was last July, as easy as a stroke of a pen. Yup before long only 22's will be legal and with govt bans on lead (read that) our rifles will make good decorations. At least we have bows but dont tell him that.
Apparantly .22's already are illegal. I have been able to buy exactly ONE box in the last thee years. None on any shelves around here anywhere.....EVER!!
Recently 22 L.R. bullets have appeared, in bulk, here. I was getting worried but they finally showed up. I always have several bricks because I have a bunch of pistols and rifles that use them. Fun to shoot and I can kill any animal I want with them if necessary. If they became hard to get or outlawed I would just quit plinking and use them for hunting. I also keep a bulk supply of 22 shorts and they are great for squirrels with head shots.
Seems to be plenty of .22 available on line now.
"on line " doesn't work too well when you don 't have credit cards! I don't have a computer either... just this worthless I-phone I can hardly see the screen on!
CC is the states not the federal.
You should look on wiki for the restrictions on imports and actions on the federal level by 0.
It's been a decades long FIGHT to get CC in most states. The reversal of the trend was expensive and necessary to restore and keep an unalienable right to defend yourself and your family from violence.
It still isn't a right if you need a permission slip. Overall, the incrementalism of liberal gun control policy since the Gun Contol Act of 1934 has eroded the rights of the law abiding citizenry. To suggest otherwise is being ignorant of both 2A and history.
Futhermore, it is not just the right interested in preserving Americans gun rights. Polling indicates opposition to gun control by a wide margin if you care to look for yourself. Only the worst of bootlicking liberals don't get it.
SB, I would bet a phone call to one of the many retailers, requesting a purchase of 22 ammo via mail in of a check or money order would be an option.
Would save you time and money in running around to your local brick and mortars looking for what they don't have. Or, perhaps a friend or relative would make an online purchase for you and you can pay them in cash. If not, I would be happy to do so for you, just shoot me a PM and we can arrange it.

EXCLUSIVE: Common AR-15 Green Tip Ammunition Already Banned in New ATF Regulation Guide
My cousin and I are heading to Cabela's tomorrow morning. I'm going to check out the ammo situation, buy some and eye ball the fishing tackle. Another friend goes with us and last time I saw a fly rod and told those guys they should buy it for me. They said hell yes, get it. It was $875 so the other friend told me I should get two. I would be afraid to even carry that to the truck. Visions of Bill Dance were in my head.
This government and it's agencies needs to be shut down NOW! Bring in the military and let them do their job protecting America...not fighting somebody else's war! So basically this BATF plann to ban a certan round has been in the works for years and in their "guidebook" for a year now ? And we're just now aware of it? Something smells fishy!
I was at Cabela's today and they had all the 223 and 5.56 ammo you could possibly want. They had all the 22 long rifle ammo you would want including in bulk boxes. They had bunches of the green tip 5.56 That were $79 for containers of 225. There were lots of shopping carts that had them heading to the check out counter. My cousin bought two boxes and I bought some 45 grain 223 hollow points and some 9 mm. Also picked up some 30 round magazines for AR 15, they were on sale. Next Saturday they are having a super sale so I guess I will be going back. The green tips were foreign made but did have brass cases. I don't do steel.
I was thinking about this I think we've been played. All they have to say is were thinking of banning a bullet and everyone runs out and buy's all they can find. Ok now we have people that have 20,000 rounds put away and for what. Because thy said they were going to ban a round.
Pat, For what?
I can easily burn thru 1000 in a long weekend of tactical shooting events. Multiply that x2 when the whole family tags along. We buy what we plan on using and keep 2 or 3 shoots in reserve.
I will say this. Odickwad and his budding commies are the best semiauto firearms salesmen this country has ever seen, including the Clintons.
Edit: Ideally I would like to have a minimum of 10,000 for each firearm I have. I seriously doubt I will be taking any to my grave.
Ok Jeff you may be the exception not all are shooting as much as you. There is a fine line in needing and hording. Besides your just like me when the time comes they're going to pull up with a tank and boom it's all over!! :{)
"There is a fine line in needing and hording." That is the same thing the leftists say about our earnings and savings.
Pat, If and when someone shows up in a tank, I'll be long gone. :)
Can't remember where it came from but, "a man's got to know his limitations."
I just don't see much wrong in those that stockpile it though. Long as it's done in a gradual manner it doesn't effect pricing much.
Some stockpile money and power. Those that do so for the influence it buys them bug me a lot more than a bunch of redneck shooters that just want to buy a little piece of mind. If it helps them sleep better at night, I'm ok with it.
Now these ABC agencies stockpiling, that's another matter. Their effect on the market has been staggering.
Edit: Not to mention these backdoor ammo bans.
I shoot almost ever day or so. My cousin and I get together from time to time a go through a bunch of ammo. Pistol, revolver, shotgun and AR.
I've got enough to get through the first firefight. After that I'll just pick up what I need off the field. I can't afford spending large sums of money on ammo. I also like to eat once in a while! ....and I need enough gas money to get to Montana! Which....if I knew this crap was gonna happen...I never would have left in the first place!
I would have bought more but I just put on pads and rotors on my truck.
I hear ya....had to put a water pump in the Ram recently. That set back a new gun purchase by a month !
No more new guns for me, except a 1911 I got my eye on sometime down the road. Maybe next year.
Lucky we can afford the ammo, since we grow and store a large portion of our own food. Never had too much trouble keeping a freezer full of free meat. Wife's a retired baker so we save a lot there. I'm a bit of a miser myself. Don't buy stuff I can do without.
Don't even have a cell phone much less a smart one. No camera either since it got ripped off outta my truck when parked in town a few years ago. I should replace that though.
Yall are missing the point, all they have to do is say we're banning and bang. Everybody runs out and it's all gone. We're being played
