There have been lots of Muslims in Ak for many years.
Many of the tourist type jewelry stores that developed with the cruise boat industry are owned by Arab & east Indian type people. I'm sure some are Muslim.
As well as many Arab type visitors every season and the crews of Indonesians that crew the ships and come ashore.
Nothing new ....
