The Giants shut out the Dodgers for the third straight game this afternoon. That's twice this month they've had back-to-back-to back shutouts!

Gotta' love good pitching!

If they can just keep everyone healthy.

Dave,

That's the interesting part of this.

Matt Cain has been on the DL for a month, yet the pitching has been incredible without him.

Pence was on the DL since the start of the season until a few days ago and he's a big part of their offense.

Until a week ago, the Giants hadn't scored more than six runs in a game since Game Four of the World Series! Then they scored 8, 11, and 9 in three of their next four games.

The Royals are on a roll.

Frank, my friend.

Can you say "Madison Bumgarner?"

Surely you remember him.

Not only did Bumgarner beat the reigning Cy Young winner and NL MVP AGAIN, he also hit a home run off Mr. Kershaw.

Much bigger payroll and we took them all the way to game 7.

Yeah, I went to that game today- what a great matchup and you can't take anything away from Kershaw- what a stud.

If you get a chance to see the highlight of Bumgartners HR in the third- its worth a look. High towering blast on the first pitch...everyone knew it was out as soon as he hit it!

And today the Giants played without Crawford and Panic- crawford pinch hit in about the 8th...if only they had a 3B....

Pence was here in Sacramento playing. A friend took his 7 year old with a sign asking if he would autograph a ball and he did. Having Pence back energized them even more. Tim pitched great the other night.

Hey they gave the Royals all the chances in the world to win in the bottom of the 9th in game 7 and they couldn't do it. A team that got to the World Series with stolen bases and they decided to give that up when they played the Giants. I sure didn't understand that. They were a heart attack team to watch at the end of the season and playoffs.

This is typical of all the so called experts in what they have said about the Giants chances of winning the World Series starting in 2010.

The Giants had been there twice before. That experience is important. The Royals were a story Americans love, no big payroll, no big names, just a lot of heart. They shut everyone else out in the playoffs, a great story regardless of the outcome.

And hey, KC represents the average philosophy on the CF than does San Fran??

You got that wrong, America loves underdogs.

"The Giants shut out the Dodgers"

Ahhh! New York verses Brooklyn!

Payrolls:

Dodgers = $278 million

Giants = $172 million

Royals = $117 million

DL,

And conservatives are underdogs!

2nd best record in baseball right now belongs to?

They play the first best, St Louis this weekend.

That's right, it is the Royals. You just gotta believe boys.

Cardinals are a team to be reckoned with. They should do away with the ALs DH. That is so lame. Most NL teams would have several more wins by now if they had DHs.

22-May-15
The cardinals needed just one more in '85. ;)

The Cardinals will do great in the playoffs...... as long as they don't have to play the Red Sox!
