Never before has a president and his entire administration worked so hard to lift up the enemies of this nation and destroy the relationships of our best precious allies and friends. Yet none declare his treasonous acts and destructive ways. It truly is like he and his are Teflon. They destroy records with impunity, They snub congress with no consequence. They lie , They steal , literally, They broker illegal deals while in office with foreign entities. They refuse any and all accountability for their actions and the press and the Democrats and seemingly the Republicans go along.

Take the doors off of Washington. Do not allow brokered behind closed door hearings and passage of law of any kind without hearings , reading , understanding and discussion of those deals and laws. Since when did Washington get to do secret deals without the consent of the people. Hold them accountable and institute term limits so we can eliminate professional politicians.

Cut government in half or even by 2/3 just to start. Next few years of less government will allow us to balance the budget and get a hand on debt in a huge way. Our government is a 500 lb old man trying to run a 50 mile marathon. It has to be cut. You cannot have an office with 5 people that generate 0 income for a company being supported by 3 people and make a profit.

Funny though we scream and balk about paying a living wage but allow government and government workers to make 10 times a living wage and refuse to cut them.

Cut the employees of the fed. limit the politicians, Make the government as accountable as I am to pay my bills.

This is what America is feeling. There are two Americas. Government America with all of its siphons, leaches and dependants , Then the slaves that are being forced to support that mess.

Now these slaves may still have the force to change this but the numbers are getting very close. My prayer is that Real America will stand and say enough. Enough. We have had enough and then act on it. I do not see our political system even attempting to change this. Instead I see Bohner and Mc Connel and their following missing the target and backing Obama.

What a stinking quagmire of rotten cotton! We should demand disclosure and complete transparence of all of these people. Hillery should be in prison right now. Not running around announcing three times that she is running for president. She is a felon. Not a candidate. She blatently broke the laws of this nation over and over and we all know it. Hold her and Holder and Obama accountable. They destroy and hide the records then imprison them just like you would imprison me for doing far less. This is not a nation of upper class and lower class , of kings and serfs. We are all under one law . One nation indivisible , with justice and freedom for all. That is our unique world position paid for in blood.

There is an understanding of the flag and it's meaning to Southerners that I did not expect to see, and I apologize for my under estimation with respect to the intelligence and insight here. You guys are tops. I won't give my opinion of the flag....without exception you have already expressed it.

And I would like to express my immense pride in the way the people of Charleston reacted and responded to the tragic, senseless killing of nine beloved members of Emmanual AMA Church of Charleston.

They did not return the hatred with more hatred, but rather with an offer of forgiveness. They responded to the killing of their loved ones by expressing love for the monster who killed them.

I must say that these people have reached a place in their relationship with Christ that is rare. I know I could not do what they have done, but I stand in awe and respect for their ability to forgive, and to love their fellow man, even in the face of pure evil. It is humbling to see that.

But for the average Confederate soldier (who DIDN'T own slaves BTW) doing most of the actual bleeding and dying, and why they fought so hard for so long with ever increasing hardship and loss, the basics for that war very simple.....

They were invaded. No different than if a hostile army came marching into your town. They were defending their home ground. I'd expect nothing less from anyone who calls themself an American.

I live in Arkansas. Not many miles from where I am lives the leader of one of the main factions of the KKK. He gets lots of press around here from those who like to stir things up, but the MAJORITY of people I talk or listen too believe he is full of it and disagree with him. In my background are many who fought for the South (or against both sides maybe), none for the North. Very few had slaves of their own, they were for freedom and states rights, at least that's what the family history written and oral says. (I did have a great-great-great-grandfather who was listed on the Marshall Co Mississippi census in 1860 as one of the largest slave owners there. He himself was also listed on the Non-White portion of the census go figure).

I was taught to be proud of who I am and where I came from and that color did not matter.

On the other hand, we were also raised to be suspicious of white Texicans because they were pompous and egotistical fools who thought they were a whole lot better than us. You sir are not helping dispel that notion. :)

The left must continue their assault on the history of this country, because it is a roadmap, a set of directions, for opposing tyranny. It will continue, and only get worse as they convince more and more people like those you see here that parts of our history should be disparaged, revised, demeaned, suppressed, and ultimately forgotten.

The Civil War was fought because new states were coming into the union, and the majority that northern states held would be lost if the new states were allowed to determine for themselves whether they were slave states or not. The dynamic at the time was that essentially the southern states voted as a block, as did the northern states. If the new states voted themselves in as slave states, the result would have been more power in the legislature, and the federal government could not allow that to happen.

Any declaration of a groups beliefs, judging by a flag they fly, or allow to fly, is every bit as ignorant as the racism those who want to suppress the confederate flag claim justifies in suppressing it.

What is recognized as the "Confederate Flag" is actually the battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia, and even more accurately, what most recognize as the "Confederate Flag", is the second Confederate Navy Jack, which is rectangular. The battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia was square.

All of that to say, what the overwhelming majority recognize as the Confederate flag, flew over battlefields, and with troops. It wasn't flown over plantations, and wasn't a symbol of oppression to slaves in it's time. The fact that racist democrats, who founded, and were the KKK, adopted the battle flag of the Confederacy in the early 20th century is much more the reason why Democrats want it suppressed and censored.

Try getting a democrat to admit that they, through the KKK, are the ones who brought shame to the Confederate flag. There is no shame in that flag for those who didn't use it to terrorize black people like the democrats did.
