You can't make this stuff up. The Cruz campaign produced an ad featuring a porn actress who once appeared in a film titled, "Insatiable Desires." (That title could appear on the cover of a book about Cruz's political ambition... but, that's a story for another thread.)

"Unfortunately, she was not vetted by the casting company."

Ya think?! LOL

From: joshuaf
12-Feb-16
Somehow I knew one of the Trumpkins would be posting about this. Pathetic.

Exactly how much "vetting" are they supposed to do of people who are going to appear in a 1-minute political ad? These aren't multi-million dollar productions, you know.

Sad thing is you'll post this trying to associate Cruz with a porn actress, yet you probably don't know or care about Trump's well-known past (and present, for all we know) immoral lifestyle.

From: Dave G.
12-Feb-16
Hmmm, of the 3 gals they featured in the ad, she would have been my last guess at which one was the porn star.

I'm Dave G., and I approve of that ad. :^)

From: joshuaf
12-Feb-16
By the way, the fact that someone in the press was even looking into this or trying to dig up dirt on Cruz in some way is just more proof they do not want Cruz as the GOP nominee. They'll stoop as low as necessary to try and damage him. I expect to see more of the same over the next 8 days, as South Carolina politics is well known to be rough and tumble. In fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the media got a tip about this girl from someone in one of Cruz's rival campaigns.

From: Jimbo
12-Feb-16
Well, joshuaf... when you're trailing and want to make up ground in a state filled with evangelicals, a little attention to detail would've been a good idea in this instance. I don't think porn stars in political ads are helpful in South Carolina. LOL Clearly, it's a non-issue. But, it is funny... and entertaining.

One thing I did notice was how the Cruz campaign was not accepting any responsibility for the mistake, instead placing blame totally with the casting company. Unfortunately, that's typical of how politicians act these days - from the President on down. They'll take credit for anything perceived to even slightly help them. But, they rarely accept responsibility when things go wrong on their watch. I view that as weak leadership. Just my opinion.

From: joshuaf
12-Feb-16
"Clearly, it's a non-issue."

Yep, a non-issue. And yet you posted it, didn't you?

Totally understandable, I guess. As a Trumpkin, you know Trump can't possibly beat Cruz on real issues. So you've got to try to damage him in other ways. Truly pathetic.

Next sureshot and Rocky will be on here telling us Cruz is guilty of dereliction of duty for not personally inspecting and approving every single actor in his political ads, after first poring over their entire filmography. For a 1-minute political ad.

From: Jimbo

For those who aren't aware, the picture KPC posted is of Melania Trump, Donald's wife. 3rd wife. Nude model 3rd wife.

From: sureshot
12-Feb-16
Yes joshuaf, Trump's 3rd wife, beautiful lady. It is a tough decision, does one support the candidate whose wife posed nude in a magazine, seemingly and figuratively leaving nothing to hide, or the candidate whose wife sells her services to the big wall street bankers her husband supposedly abhors? A real conservative could probably use one word to describe both women. What word would you use?

bad karma, Have you ever represented a client, when representing that client is against your personal beliefs, or do you excuse yourself from such cases?

From: bad karma
12-Feb-16
Any lawyer will represent clients who take positions that the lawyer may not support. It's your job to help people who need help. Doctors treat people who have ruined their bodies with drugs, even if doctors are not in favor of meth use. No difference. The client needs help, it's their job to help him.

If you don't like the case, or don't think he has a good case under the law, you can refuse to take it. Consider that in a good sized law firm, you may be working on the case, but you may not be the one who brought the case in, or signed the client on with the firm. In one firm, one associate had all the intakes for a given week, so that person made the decision to take the case.

From: sureshot

I think he may have, may have pulled a Bill Clinton. Could it be possible? See how ridiculous that sounds? That is what you sound like with your Trump did this and Trump did that childish BS.

Do you know where Donald Trump was yesterday? He was in Florida on the stump.

Can you Cruzheads make any connection what so ever HOW or WHY he would be there. SC is already OVER. Idiots.

Another question. How do you know about Trumps personal life and past. Where did that info come from?

Kyle,

Incredible that you bring this to light at this time. That phone number supposedly was referred to Rafael from one of his managers. That has just been revealed moments ago from the JEB people. Rafael is now claiming he can not control what his associates are doing every minute of every day. The vetting process according to Rafael was beyond his knowledge and he met those ACTORS once. Well Rafael once can be more than enough. Right?

Tell me. Where did his "manager" as Rafael claims, obtain this information.

Somebody is porking somebody. Rafael porked the people of Iowa no doubt. Could it be, which at first was a joke, now maybe not so funny, Rafael and his manager are double porking at the same time?

Could it be? Or...as the CF may defend him with..impossible...Rafael does not have a dick.

Hilarious....simply friggin hilarious your lilly white candidate.

Rocky,

I've been at odds with many, if not most who frequent the CF over the years. I have engaged in heated debates, and even some fairly ugly exchanges when differences of opinion became more personal. Through all of that, I maintained respect for the others in the discussion, and myself. When I failed to keep a civil tone or used coarse language, I checked myself, and sincerely apologized, because there is no need for that here. This is a public message board, and we aren't the only ones who view it.

Whether you are willing to consider it or not, many here have had similar life experiences as you. Few will be shocked and many more will be surprised, disappointed, and disgusted by your apparent desire to be vulgar and coarse. The funny thing about it is that while it is obvious that you are trying to display a lack of respect for those here, what you are really doing is disrespecting yourself, and coming across a quite juvenile in the process.

It sounds like it is your intention to flame out, and have yourself removed from the CF. Judging by your recent posts on another thread, you are well on your way. You may not care whether you have the respect of any of the posters here on the CF, but trust me, at some point losing the respect you have for yourself will matter to you.

To another who I respect and no disrespect. I have said it once and will say it again. I have become the monster the CF wants me to be. "They" are the one's who can not handle it because I refuse to be their egg to be cracked.

Do not worry about me and what I will or will not regret. I have far exceeded anyone's expectation of me my entire life. I appreciate the sentiments but you do not know my composition.

People are repulsed by those who do not conform. That's life in the small lane. If I am banished from this site my life will not be altered or ended. If I remain I will dictate my course and what I believe. If I am attacked I will, as throughout my life, hit back a little harder. Sometimes I may have to wait but I will as long as I have to. I may be rural now but I was raised urban and did not have time to pick corn while trying to survive the streets.

That's me. I can not be you or anyone else nor would I want to be. I am content. I wish you the same.

There are two editions of the 1917 U.S. quarter. The earlier version was minted with Liberty's left breast exposed. A bluenosed populace raised hell over it and a second minting was ordered, this time with both her assets covered. Meanwhile, no one seemed to care that the model for Liberty was also the actress in Birth of a Nation, a racist film which also happened to be a personal favorite of uber liberal president and thorough-going shitheel, Woodrow Wilson.

Which proves, Americans are no more logical than today than they were in 1917.
