Most of them were not even hooked into the grid to provide electricity anyway. There was a lot of government incentive$ and fund$ to erect the windturbines, but little funding to build the infrastructure needed to turn unicorn farts to usable green energy.

I posted stories here on the CF a number of years ago dealing with European countries that had gotten on the wind generation fable before the movement hit the US and were already demonstrating the problems with recycling failed and broken parts. Many of the countries are again in the lead by getting out of this failed technology.

Our proregressive environmentalists are as usual well behind the reality curve.
