If there is no place in their world for a minimum set of standards that a candidate must meet to be worthy of a vote, they might as well be democrats in my opinion.
I am writing myself in this election, knowing in KS my one vote will not matter. Otherwise, I would have to vote for Trump only because he is the lesser of...IMHO.
That is not unlike what I will be doing. I will be voting for a conservative in November, in hopes that the republican party takes note of the number of conservative voters who voted, but not for their candidate. I doubt they care, or ever will, but my vote will note be used to condone the direction of the republican party.

A protest vote with many others is intended to send a strong message to the powers that we must do better in who we recruit.
Further, after sending that message, I must consider any ramifications, like Hillary appointing less Constitutionally minded judges, pro-abortion judges etc...
It would be nice if life was as black and white as some of you want to pretend. I am not smart enough to clear all of the complicated matters before me without deep thought, seeking advice from the Holy Spirit and listening to all view points.
