I worked on his campaigns and met him a couple of times. Truly a very funny and smart guy. He was part owner of the Cherry County Playhouse in Traverse City, MI and starred in a number of plays during the summer.
I wish the campaign materials I had saved had not been lost in our house fire. Would have loved to put a Paulsen for President sign in my front yard. Have several neighbors who are old enough to have appreciated that and enjoyed the joke...or would it really be a joke this year? ;o)
One of my favorite buttons.
Thinking about some of his campaigns, I think one of his tag lines would fit very appropriately on many of the threads of late, especially when some just have to get "into it":
"PICKY, PICKY, PICKY..."
