I was looking at some of the comments. There were a few that said things like "you realize the normal American family cannot afford to learn archery." I guess I should not be amazed any longer at how stupid some people are.

For real? OMG....if you want to know of a past time that the "normal" American family cannot afford it's GOLF!!!
I can do a 3-D shoot as a non-club member here for $12.00. That's a fraction of what a round of golf is!!
For me, the most expensive part of a 3-D shoot is the gas it takes me to get there and back.

My Wife started shooting 3D tournaments this Year. We practice routinely together.
A landowner friend of mine had a rogue bull calf that was running around wild after he moved all his cattle North. He offered it to me. I thought...what a great way to introduce my Wife to bowhunting! She managed a successful spot and stalk!
She was very interested in watching me break it down, enjoyed the whole process.
No need to tell you guys how good that meat tasted !
