Here are mine, in no particular order:
1, and 2: Linda Ronstadt, "Different Drum" (Very personal to me) and "Blue Bayou."
3, 4, and 5, The Eagles, "Takin' It Easy," "Lyin' Eyes," "Peaceful Easy Feeling (The rhythm and the gentle beat just makes me mellow out like nothing else.)
6. Berlin, "Take My Breath Away" - the theme song to Top Gun. (On the list, no doubt, in part because of my years flying for SAC.)
7.Olivia Newton John, "Have You Never Been Mellow?" (Again, very personal to me.)
8. Ricky Nelson, "Garden Party." (Another one that's very personal.)
9. Don McClean, "American Pie." (So much stuff here from my formative years.)
10. Eddie Raven, "Desperate Dreams." (Relates directly to my ultra-distance running years as it was the theme song for a video on the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run back in the eighties. The 'she' in the song is my relationship and passions for this race.)
I have so many more favorites, so picking a 'Top Ten' was difficult and subjective.
It's even my ring tone. I have to remember to turn it off when I go to a funeral!
How about ten songs that have some tenuous connection to bow hunting?
But its' :59 minutes long!

Check out Green Grass and High Tides (Outlaws) where at about 5:20 Thomassen and Jones really cook. Listen to the Fender Strat on the right channel.
Kyle and Shuteye being string men will appreciate this.
Man...southern rock....Skynrd, Molly Hatchet..etc.
The Rock
However this one ALWAYS comes to the top of the list. Never fails to put a smile on my face. REO Speedwagons "Roll With the Changes". Late 70's, cruising in a CJ5, top off, girls, cold beer,... damn good times!!!
"...Wind In my hair, Shifting and drifting, Mechanical music, Adrenaline surge,
Well-oiled leather, Hot metal and oil, The scented country air
Sunlight on chrome, The blur of the landscape, Every nerve aware..."

. . . man, Patty really belted this one out, and both her and Ricky seemed to really enjoy the song . . . .
5 immediately jumped to mind so I will list them:
"Jackson" by Johnny and June Cash
"T for Texas" -the Skynyrd version
"In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" - The backstory is pretty funny. Dickey Betts composed this instrumental to a side gal but, to avoid angering his girlfriend, he dedicated it to Elizabeth Reed, the name on a tombstone in the cemetery he and the rest of ABB hung out for inspiration and, well, "inspiration."
"Melissa"
"Wish You Were Here"
"Since I been lovin you" Led Zepplin "While my guitar gently weeps" The Beatles "Comfortably numb" Pink Floyd "Get Together" The Young Bloods "Hey Joe" Jimi Hendrix "Muddy Water blues" Paul Rodgers version "Layla" Derek and The Dominoes "Love reign o'er me" The Who "Simple kind of man" Skynyrd "Heard it in a love song" The Marshall Tucker Band
wait... I forgot "All along the watchtower" Jimi Hendix version. Man I got all these songs runnin in my head
