I sense that there is little enthusiasm for either candidate. These poll results seem to reflect that.
"In a largely negative presidential campaign, where most Americans are voting against, rather than for, a candidate, Democrat Hillary Clinton leads Republican Donald Trump 48 – 43 percent among likely voters nationwide, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today.
This compares to a 51 – 41 percent Clinton lead in an August 25 survey of likely voters nationwide, by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University."
"Voting for Clinton is the lesser of two evils, 38 percent of her supporters say, while 57 percent say she is the candidate they like.
Among Trump supporters, 50 percent say they are picking the lesser of two evils, while 46 percent say he is the candidate they like."
Now go into Philly or Pittsburgh and I imagine you won't find one. Then again....many people have come out of the closet. ;-)

Little Clinton support even seen on campus at UM and MSU...
Yesterday when Trump spoke in Flint, the protests were rather weak and pathetic in za town that overwhelmingly is a Democrat stronghold. His reception was polite and somewhat receptive... certainly a surprise to the pse-minded.

""Trump received 13,406,108 votes to date in the elections according to www.thegreenpapers.com.
As a result Trump has more votes than any candidate in Republican history.
Trump shattered the previous record by 1.4 million votes — and that was with 17 candidates in the race""
""Trump has more primary wins (27), more overall state wins (30), the highest percentage of primary wins (87%), the highest percent of overall state wins (71%), the highest percent of primary delegates (74%), the highest percent of overall delegates (67%), and the highest percentage of votes (60%) than the final top four Republican and Democrat candidates.""
Trump Creates Historic Fundraising Records With Small Donors
For many years now, Republicans observed Democratic nominees — Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton — fuel their presidential aspirations through small-donor funds. This year-round, the GOP establishment witnessed a boom in their balance sheet as presidential nominee Donald Trump unleashed a barrage of small-dollar donations, as reported by Politico.
Trump, who explored every possibility to bring in funds into the campaign, crushed all historic fundraising records for small (under $200/per) donations as he amassed over 2.1 million individual small donations in 3 months.

From the link "Voter satisfaction with the choice of presidential candidates, already at a two-decade low, has declined even further."
"Just 36% of Republican and Republican-leaning registered voters, and 35% of Democrats and Democratic leaners, say they are satisfied with their choices."
As has been true from the beginning, about 1/3 of republicans like trump.
You have to remember that Kansas republicans tend to be very conservative, so it is not surprising that they do not relish trump. He will win Kansas easily because it always votes republican, but it will be like being forced to drink sewer water because it beats dying from dehydration.
"Trump’s campaign receipts in June and July were roughly comparable to, if a bit below, Romney’s totals from 2012. But while Trump raised his largest monthly total in August, $41.7 million, this still represented less than half of what Romney was able to achieve that month."
"Donald Trump, ... pulled in $48.3 million in smaller gifts — about 29 percent of his haul from individual donors."
"Obama, through August 2012, received ... about 37 percent."

"But if you look just at registered voters, the new poll actually shows Clinton's image is about as bad as Trump's, with 38 percent having a favorable impression and 59 percent unfavorable, compared to a 37/60 split for Trump."
The negatives you so relish are proof positives.

This is even more interesting to me since this is Arkansas and folks still remember more about the doings of the Clinton Duo than some others.
I was at the district fair last night (working as a reserve deputy so I couldn't politic of course), and I noticed there was less activity - and enthusiasm by the workers - at the Democrat's booth. Most of their signage seemed to be state and local candidates. There were more signs (and give aways too) at the Republican's booth. They did have a life size cut out of Trump I would have liked to have had just for oneryness. ;)
Meanwhile the the "No Enthusiasm's" keep growing for Don as he crushed all historic fundraising records for small (under $200/per) donations as he amassed over 2.1 million individual small donations in 3 months.
The News Alert blog reports:
Florida Shocker: Republicans Winning By 120,000 Votes In Early Voting. #Trump the FIRST Republican EVER to win early votes in FL! #TrumpPence16.
Things that make you go hmmmmmm!
Everybody I know is voting for Mr Trump, there's no reason to display it. The only signs I've seen are for Illary and they are the Hillary for Prison version.
Its not even gonna be close.
"Its not even gonna be close".......
I believe you 100% and that is not wishful thinking.
Seems like Trump signs are sprouting up everywhere. My sister -in-law who voted for zero twice says she is voting Donald Trump. Her union (school teachers) are "frantic" because many of her colleagues are openly saying they can't vote for Hillary much to the unions dismay. I am a bit shocked to be truthful that this many people are laying their cards on the table out in the open. Maybe they are making it known if Hillary wins that they didn't back her. Of course that ain't a gonna happen, that bitch winning that is.

OTOH, hilary should be at the top of the FBI's most wanted list.
Trump still has not topped bernie in fundraising and is far below where obama was in small donations. Facts are facts. He still is not approaching investing even 1% of his self-proclaimed vast wealth into his own campaign.
Hillary..."Hey...everyone...I'm over here! I'm here! It's ME!...everybody....?"
That's probably a pretty high percent of her dedicated followers all in one photo. Can't actually be many more than that in the entire US.
Elect better candidates. That's your option. I don't understand wishing complete self destruction on yourself....or how that is somehow better than working w/in the party.

I've seen nothing on the POTUS level. Not a bumper sticker, not a yard sign, ........nothing.
Don't know if they really like Trump or not or if they just really hate Clinton!
I had a number of comments on my "liberalism is what smart looks like to dumb people" tee at a large antique show Saturday. People are tired of government telling them how to live and what they can do or say.
Trump is merely the icon of the rejection of the PIC.
It looks like this time around the democrats are the ones with no enthusiasm!
How could they have any?

You can be fed up with the problem but not believe Trump is the solution.
A Hellary win will insure the exact opposite.
What good will seating conservative justices do if people are not enthusiastic about the candidate that would seat them?... ;-)

I have yet to see one.
After a three day weekend travelling across KS (not just to look for signs :-)), I have now seen over a dozen trump signs.
One I saw on Saturday said "Honk for trump."
Not sure if it was home-made or came from the campaign.
So far, 2,788 ballots have been returned, but none have been opened.
I wish I had thought to drive by the Clinton Presidential Library Trailer (really, that is what it looks like, quite embarrassing actually) to see if there were any campaign signs close to it. ;)
Pro-Trump Republicans knocked on two million doors in the last week and a half and are putting up massive new voter registration numbers. The hurricane in Florida slowed door knocking efforts but the phone game there is still strong and the ground game is not expected to miss a beat once the weather conditions improve. In Pennsylvania, heavy rains did not stop the Trump force from knocking on 100,000 doors in one day alone.
The Republican National Committee provided new voter registration numbers to Breitbart News:
Florida Net: +261,715 Iowa Net: +38,913 Nevada Net: +12,720 North Carolina Net: +173,785 Pennsylvania Net: +223,552
Deport the foreigners and jail the rest. People need to get out and vote and anyone who thinks thinks their conscience won't permit them to vote for the Republican after looking at that video, is doing far more damage to this country than they realize.
The second video with the "blacks" destroying the car, well, what do you expect. It just sickens me to think that I've worked all my life and paid taxes to support such filth.
From the Political Insider - Trump has more primary wins (27), more overall state wins (30), the highest percentage of primary wins (87%), the highest percent of overall state wins (71%), the highest percent of primary delegates (74%), the highest percent of overall delegates (67%), and the highest percentage of votes (60%) than the final top four Republican and Democrat candidates.
Polizette - Trump Sets GOP Record for Individual Donors...GOP nominee draws in mostly small contributions from 2.6 million Americans
USA Today - Trump chatter breaking all records on Facebook...Chatter about Trump has soared, with more than 300 million interactions last week.
The Washington Times reported - "Republicans continued to shatter turnout records in their presidential primaries and caucuses Tuesday, while Democrats lagged behind in what analysts said was a clear indication of an enthusiasm gap heading into the general election. Virginia’s GOP primary tallied more than 1 million votes, shattering the record set in 2000 by more than 50 percent. Democrats, meanwhile, were 200,000 votes shy of their own record, set in the contested 2008 primary. In Tennessee, GOP turnout crossed the 800,000-vote mark, leapfrogging the previous record by nearly 50 percent. Records were also likely to be set in Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Massachusetts. Democrats, though, were struggling, seeing turnout drop by massive levels in all of their races Tuesday night.
There is evidently LOTS of enthusiasm for Trump...not so much for the Democrats.
Its not even gonna be close.
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton held rallies in Cleveland this past weekend.
Hillary Clinton had a few hundred people show up.
