She's in college at the U of Wyoming in Laramie and wants to get a doctorate degree in large animal pathology, hoping to help solve the domestic sheep/wild sheep disease issue.
This was her first bow harvest and her father was with her all the way. They'd go out on weekends and in the afternoons once she was done with her classes.
It was my good fortune to mentor her when she came on the board last year and all I can tell you is that is if she's in any way representative of our young people, America has a bright future!
Well done, Sierra! I am so proud of you and so happy for you!
:-)
Nice bowkill, though.
She was National Honor Society in high school, active in all sorts of school activities, worked part-time for a veterinarian, helped out the WY DFG at their hunter check stations, as well as volunteering to help the WY DFG at one of their research facilities.
And that was just what she did in high school!
She's polite, articulate, thoughtful and mature far beyond her years.
In short, she's an absolute delight to be with.
Oh, yeah. She's also a conservative!
That young lady has a very bright future, a beautiful smile and apparently the aptitude to handle whatever this world will throw at her. Congrats to her AND to her father and or parents.
That was a very nice gesture on your part.

Suffice it to say, Sierra doesn't need nor want any 'safe places,'
And I'm glad to see that my alma mater is still attracting people like this!
