" A 57-year-old killer serving a life sentence in California is the first inmate in the country to have sex-reassignment surgery paid for by the government, the New York Times reports.
Shiloh Heavenly Quine was convicted of first-degree murder, kidnapping and robbery for ransom. Quine has no possibility of parole.
Quine had the surgery in San Francisco on Thursday, Reuters reported. She will reportedly be moved to a women’s prison when she leaves the hospital."
Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable.
why would an inmate need a sex change operation?
1 it is an offense for inmates to have sexual relations while in prison
2 As a murder convict I don't believe he/she/it will be getting out soon
3 he/sh/it doesn't have a "Public" identity thus no need for expression. "she" can express he identity just fine in a cell.
This belong in the INSANITY thread
Spike, I agree, and I know this may sound a little contradictory because I am Pro Life... But I don't believe that the government should tell anyone what they can or can not do with or to their bodies. I also believe you need to be of a legal age (18 Years old) to make those decisions. I also believe that we the tax payers should not be footing the bill in any way shape or form. If you can't afford a child, don't have sex... But if you do have one, don't expect me to pay for it!!! GET A JOB!!!!! The true down fall of this country is that anything and everything is gradually becoming acceptable and the norm... Everything except being a Bible Believing Christian. Especially if you happen to be a middle aged, white, Bible believing Christian.
God Bless,
Scar.
This is what the left considers "Progress".
Spike,
In no way do I feel abortion is acceptable. to me, once it has a heartbeat it's alive- therefore it is murder. On the other hand, do you feel that there are extenuating circumstance like rape or incest? I'm not sure on that one... what if it was my wife or one of my daughters that got raped? Would I be "ok" with them having a baby... Not so sure I would. I try to be a Godly man, but I also know that I fail horribly at it every day. I am not debating your beliefs nor am I implying mine are better, just having a discussion. How about taking justice into your own hands by killing a man for doing one these horrible things to your family memember. Is there a difference if he is in your house and you kill him, or if you kill him after the fact? He is still dead. Is that Murder?
God Bless,
Scar.
I am very SPECIFIC on The Life issue. I Used to say I was Pro-Life. I'm not. I am Anti-abortion and pro death penalty. There is no contradiction. It is an apples to oranges comparison.....an innocent child in the womb compared to a cognizant, decision making person. That our society tolerates MASS ABORTION MURDER and keeps these evil monsters alive for yrs in death row is a big reason there is a huge cultural rot in America... Get the electric chair warmed up, and the jail cells ready for the abortion doctors. The left is SCARED shit of Trump....it's great to watch.....Mad Dog
Mad Dog,
I'm not sure if that was directed at me from my question to Spike, but I think you may have misread my post... If you want to include yourself in the conversation, by all means feel free to do so, I am definitely interested in your opinions/ believes, but can you answer the questions as I stated them to Spike?
As far as the Death Penalty goes, I'm all for it! But why don't we start with the thousands of Murders, Rapists and Child Molesters we have on death row now.... And lets toss in a whole bunch of drug dealers after their 2nd offense (I believe in giving some people a second chance). Lets stop the multiple appeals and years on death row B.S. All on tax payers dollars! There is so much wrong with this country, but yet I am still very humbled and proud to live here! God Bless,
Scar.
Sounds good to me. The abortion comments got me involved. We don't sound that far apart. God Bless you Back. Mad Dog
My daughter just did a report on abortion for a college writing class. All but 3% of abortions are for convenience, cost, or family/social pressure. My daughter is a good one to write on the topic because she is adopted. Adoption is a wonderful choice that benefits all involved: clearly the child, the adoptive parents, and also the birth mother who then does not have to live with the guilt of her decision.
Spike, Mad Dog, Gadan, I think that is the tragedy in all this. Some women will use abortion as birth control. It is a very sad reality! I personally know a person like that... Very Sad and tragic! Another tragedy is the woman that uses a child as a paycheck. Either from the father, or through welfare.
God Bless Brothers!

What gets me is when I hear, "It's my body and my choice."
Uh....no it isn't. It's your CHILD'S body. If it were your body you'd be dead.
Since children cannot speak for themselves from conception until they reach the age of majority, none should lose their life without due process.
