The 47-point rack received a score of 312 3/8.

I think it's a rifle kill so that makes it the largest hunter killed whitetail. I can appreciate the size but have always liked the way typical racks look better.

HA/KS - Ya oughta post it over on the main big game forum, whitetail forum, likely get more traffic and responses...

Ahhhh, heard about this one, that's that muzzleloader kill Bowriter posted about recently (I think)...

I take it has been officially measured and scored now, but assume not panel judged by B&C? Don't know much about the muzzleloader record keeping org, but B&C panel judge potential WR only every couple years if I'm not mistaken...

Might want to check genetics for possible brushpile/deer hybrid.

Eh....typical racks are paint by numbers art. But racks like this are masterpieces. How they grow like that, God only knows.

I'll take a non Typical over a Typical. I have one going by one of my ladder stands but he isn't anything like the one from Tennessee. I think next year he will be better. This picture doesn't show all the goodies and I have watched him in person and he is pretty cool. He has broken off some stuff fighting in this picture.

He is not a world record yet, needs drying time. He for sure is going to be Tennessee #1 . Age was 3 1/2 yr old.
