it'll be fine. I've done it before, just had the GFI go out on my freezer plug. Refroze some meat that was still cold. Enjoy.

Yep, No problem... We have had to do it twice over many many years. As long as it's still cold it won't hurt a thing. Some may say it affects the taste, but we never noticed a difference.

Most of my ground venison is frozen twice. Once when we cut everything up and then thawed and ground all at once when I get a good amount to grind. Then stuffed into poly tubes and frozen again. Never noticed any real difference.

No problem with refreezing it. It's an old wives tale that refreezing meat is somehow dangerous.

Even appliances are getting in on this New Year's resolution stuff too, eh? I guess when you've run as long as they have, it's time to stop and smell the thawed produce.....so to speak. ;-)
