This young man is in his first year at Annapolis. He patiently listened to this old man's stories of his dad in WWII and was even familiar with the typhoon that was going on when my dad was shot down.
He has three older siblings who are attending or already graduated from the Air Force Academy. The three guys are all pilots or intend to be. The girl is a doctor.
Their sister in high school also hopes to attend one of the academies.
Two other siblings are a doctor and an attorney. I am not sure what the other three kids intend to do. Their mother is my wife's (pictured) cousin. All were in attendance at my grandmother-in-law's 100th birthday party. She still lives at home by herself, but did decide to stop driving a couple of years ago.
