Aside from stating the OBVIOUS, about the "Greatest Generation" do you have any respect for this asshole? I dont. Im tired of his little ads on tall radio...he's a phoney. Mad Dog

Brokaw is a liberal statist and elitist who firmly believes he has reached the status of senior "journalist" who is an expert on everything, when actually he is just a little, old, POS with a speech impediment. I have no use for him......never did.
Tom Brokaw narrated the Discovery Channel documentary -- Rancher, Farmer, Fisherman -- that my son helped film. Apparently during the Q&A at the Sundance Film Festival, Tom asked who did that great drone work.
Brokejaw thinks that he knows everything about everything but won't admit it when he is wrong on a subject.
HA!, you guys ate up his Greatest Generation book and now that he's opining on trump he's the enemy? Remove your blinders already. Brokaw is an American institution, Trump is an American disgrace. Talk about integrity? He was asked to be Nixon's press secretary and turned it down because he didn't want to be a mouthpiece or cheerleader for a president. He wanted to report the good and the bad. And he has criticized democrats, conservatives, liberals and republicans alike. (Link attached)
I remember watching him on election day 1984 when Regan was reelected. When it was obvious he had won, Brokaw came on and was so put out announcing it. It was something to the tune, "Well, it is obvious that Ronald Regan has won the election again.".
He is like every liberal in that he is condescending and arrogant. And, very often misleading in most topics he "knows" about.

Mike, there is more to life than your hatred of Trump. And, Brokaw was being a liberal, condescending, piece of journalist crap long before Trump entered the political arena.

A subject on which 34 false registrations makes you wholly unqualified to render any worthwhile opinion on Paul.
It is worthy of note however that in your desperate attempt to counter the argument you cite a very recent indictment that was not one borne of the kind of objectivity that journalists are supposed to embody but rather a restatement of the obvious.
In short Paul, Brokaw has no more seen the light than you have seen the truth-he's merely frothing at the mouth and venting his spleen; something you should have no difficulty in relating to.
Now, why don't you put your time to a more constructive use, say, working up your latest lesson indoctrination plan for your students?
Brokaw remains what he has always been - a leftist hack trying to pawn himself off as a journalist.

Actually, Never read that hyped up book. I was raised by the great generation who served in all the Wars. Grandpa told me Brokaw was a fraud back in the 70s. You see....I don't run with the crowd. Tom Brokaw's legacy will be, in his fast fading glory as in all other liberal/left/socialist media in President Trumps America, just another, in the long line of " causalities of war".
The media is in a death struggle not with the POTUS as the news outlets would have you believe. They are in a death spiral in their effort and tug of war to control the very soul of America. Without it they are a non-factor and they hear the train whistle fast approaching the station, panic now replacing long protected vanity, long overdue. All aboard for the West Coast.
