OMG, I just read that Barry Manilow has come out as gay! What a crazy world! Next thing you know they will being saying that Freddie Mercury and Liberace were gay as well... WTF!

Funny thing..... Back in college, I had a music class and the teacher was a fairly tall lady and she was a huge Manilo fan. She told the story of him coming to the campus to perform and she got to meet him. She said she was crushed. She had always pictured him as this tall, handsome guy. Said he was close to a foot shorter than her! Said it just killed her dream right there.
I always think of the name Barely Manenough....

Many Years ago, my buddies and I were invited to a "beer party" by a chick we knew, who had hooked up with some Theater folks. We walked into the house, filled the bathtub with beer and ice, and soon after, "Manny" made his grand entrance...in a pink bathrobe!
After about ten minutes of trying to make conversation...we all got up, grabbed the beer, and headed out.

I have no interest or concern of what people do in bed. It does not affect me or my children. However, when people flaunt perversion and demand acceptance as normal, we all suffer. How does one explain this to a child?
