Huh...I just received a 24 page survey regarding "haze" effecting views in the National Parks and wilderness areas.

Issued by the NPS and it goes to University of Wyoming for processing.

I find that most of the "haze" in my area is due to forest fires.

According to the survey. Coal fired power plants, industry, vehicles, oil and gas are top 4 with fires being #5.

I live within spitting distance of the hellsgate wilderness area. If there isn't a forest fire in the vicinity the air is crystal clear.
