I have a 1972 Browning Fury 1 recurve. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Like quality, value, demand.

Nice bows but they only sell for $100

If you'll post this over on the Leatherwall trad forum, you'll probably get more info than you really want or need. :-)

X2 Joey. There's probably many centuries of combined knowledge about stickbows over there. I've never failed to have bow question answered there when I've asked it.

The bow was made a browning while the great Harry Drake worked there. Probably the best bow designer ever. Lots of browning bows were made I have several and they are my favorite mass produced bow. Much better than bears. There is nothing you cannot hunt in NA with that bow if it's 45lbs or above. However they are not rare and retain little value. Harry was from San Diego and he shot a flight arrow out of a foot bow that went over a mile. No one has done it since.

Killed my first deer with a Browning Fury I. Very Good bows. If you're going to sell it I'd like to buy it.
