Check out a few of the videos on this gentleman's channel. Mind numbing idiocy.
More than 60% of 18-34 yr old Americans express belief in Socialism and entertain the idea of abolishing private property rights? What could go wrong with that?
Well with the Supreme Court ruling against private property can't see you have much private property rights. Oh and stop paying those yearly lease payments known as taxes and see how long you have your quasi private property. The really free Americans all but vanish around the early 1900's
60% of 18-34 are still living with (or off) their parents.......
I have met a half dozen 30 year olds this year.... still going to college...... have never really entered the workforce in any significant way in their entire lives.
We have several like that currently trolling around on this site....
It breeds not only a laziness and sloth with no appreciation for real labor or a commitment to be self sufficient and independent..... but paradoxically an air of entitlement.....
Serious question here. Since we are often a product of our environment, what does it say about these folks parents? My dad taught me to work for what I want. I worked 40 hrs a week in a factory all summer starting as a 14 yr old and shoveled snow before school in the winters.
Now, here we are 20 years later and my 14 yr old ran his own grass cutting/landscaping business this summer and my 17 ran one of my painting crews all summer.
The 60% of 18-34 yr olds that feel this way undoubtedly has something to do with their parents coddling them. If we continue this trend of participation trophies and the overall pussification of our youth it will only get worse.
Read it somewhere, may be here, but if you listen to these kids, on the surface they sound intelligent. They use amalgamated words like "Corproratocracy" (love that one) and articulate their viewpoints well. However, the basis of their points of view are so outlandish and preposterous they lose all credibility. They are stupid.
Its the same whether they are arguing politics, abortions rights, gender identity, racism and all the other hot button issues. Get them to go off their talking points and away from theory into fact and they are defenseless. I love watching the likes of Ben Shapiro, Denesh Desouza, Bill Whittle and others tear these folks apart.
The 60 % would be cured if the parents had the good sense to let them sit in the cellar for a year or two and not feed them or do their laundry. What is the rush ?
Yes, it is the values of the parents shining through ... Ain't a pill for it yet...
I'm 34 but prefer not to be lumped into the same generation as these morons. I grew up with a home computer when I was in jr high and high school but I don't game. I supported myself through college and bought a house directly after. Now I live on 200 acres I own(or the bank does) in a house I own. I raise my kids to do it themselves and tell them they're not entitled to anything. I was lucky to be raised in a rural part of the world where work ethic is still taught and valued.
I guess next year that 60% will go up a little LINK. ;^) Also 34. It's hard for me to fathom that it would be 60%, but I live in a rural area. Could we get a breakdown of rural vs. city/suburban?
For the most part people in their teens and early 20s are legitimately children these days... so they really don't have any business having a political opinion, regardless of what the law says. I know this because I was in some ways a child at that age as well, and I see many similar (mostly worse) traits in people of that age now.
Once upon a time, we were at elk camp. A gentleman who was hunting with us, in casual conversation, said a male doesn't really become a man (or fully matures) until about the age of 25. At the time, I was around 19 or 20. I thought that sounded dumb and didn't agree.
As I got older and supervised 19 to 25 yr olds in a work environment, I understand now that he was right. Sorry sub 25 yr olds...
@KC Watched it with my 25 year old 6:00 this morning. I was up getting ready for work and he was just coming in from work. He said that kid needs a job. And when the kid said about abolishing private property my son said he would tear the beanie of his head, set it afire and douse it with the water bottle. So much for private property.
HDE, the hypothalamus doesn't fully develop in a young man's brain until about 28, and 24 for women. When not fully developed, think of it as the "hold my beer and watch this" part of your brain. A lot of foolish young men start buckling down at that point, and even young criminals can learn the error of their ways.
Fake news that everybody here gobbles up like a carp eating a molasses doughball. What data is there and who compiled it under what parameters? You all accept without questioning the data or tje source. This is usually the type of thing right wing extremists pass around after somebody mimeographed some flyers in their garage. When i was that age all i thought about was scoring chicks and beer. Have we changed that much?
Look at all the dumb arses that supported Bernie Sanders last year. I know you don't like to admit that the Democrat party is run by and full of socialists, but that doesn't change the reality.
"Among college-aged Americans, 58 percent report a positive view of socialism and 56 percent a positive view of capitalism. In contrast, only 28 percent of seniors have a positive view of socialism while 61 percent have a favorable view of capitalism. This may give the impression young people are trending socialist."
Of course... there's a certain percentage of the population that appears to have no concept.
From the Reason-Rupe Poll link:
"Democrats are split in half on capitalism and socialism. Fifty-three percent say they have a favorable view of capitalism and 50 percent a favorable view of socialism. In fact nearly 3 in 10 Democrats have a favorable opinion of both socialism and capitalism."
""Democrats are split in half on capitalism and socialism. Fifty-three percent say they have a favorable view of capitalism and 50 percent a favorable view of socialism."
If they can't grasp a simple concept like math it's easy to understand why they struggle with economic concepts......
I happen to know quite a few Canadians who are not enamored by Socialized Healthcare. They say it's good if you're in a car accident, get hit by a bus or some other emergency trauma, but sucks for anything else.
So wtf are you still doing here Athiest? why arn't you on your way to a socialist country where you can be happy? Your kids could grow up with wonderful healthcare. why stay here if you long to be a socialist? Move to where the socialists are! I am sure Venezuela would love to have you!
Why move when the opportunity to make this country great presents itself. And great meaning equality for all, closing the wealth/poverty gap, healthcare as a human right and so on. MAG! Right?
" why move when the opportunity to make this country great presents itself."
Donald Trump put an end to your opportunity!! That's what pisses you liberals off so much. It isn't the fact Donald won, could have been any republican, but the fact that we were so close to socialism and now the door is closed! LOL!!!!
LMAO !!! Someone, please point out what happened to "income disparity" during the Obama presidency. Seems odd that the gap widened. I thought the Democrats were all about "fixing" that. Like the way they promised to "fix" racism, healthcare, Detroit...
Who said obama was perfect? Just head and shoulders more intelligent, coherent, presidential and human than the orange blob that currently resides in the WH.
See atheist. obama fed off of idiots like you. He just about ended America, as we know it, but idiots like you, got fooled by a liar, and you idiots took it hook, line, and sinker. Anyone, like you, that think it's ok to allow ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, into our country, are the same idiots that think they get to keep their health care, and Dr. You guys still believe that. obama wouldn't make a pimple on Trump's a$$.
My co-worker's sister-in-law spent 9 hours waiting at the emergency room in Costa Rica with a kidney infection. There was also guy there with a compound leg fracture for the same amount of time waiting for help. So much for the great socialized medical in that country.
Sorry to hear that Keith, Do you think those waits dont exist here? Except here you get a bill on your way out. There are exceptions everywhere. Overall and after studies were done, those living with socialized medicine are far happier. Not marginally, not slightly. FAR happier.
