Our son called from Vegas to wish me a happy birthday - and to tell us that he had won first place in the drone video contest at the Interdrone International Drone Conference.
He has been making films for several years and entered several competitions. This is his first win, but his films have been well received in a number of places.
His 2017 wheat harvest film will be premiering at a local theater later this month.

I learned the story of the check. The one they had ordered from the printer did not arrive in time, so they grabbed some foam and made a check.
