Got several calls on my cell phone from a 202 area code today and last couple days.I don't answer them.it shows no name.finally answered one finite.recorded message saying student loan financing and wants card info.its a scam from Washington DC area code.be aware.

If a name doesn't come up on my phone I don't answer. They can leave a message.

Yup! I also usually search the number if they do not leave a message and if it has been associated with spam calls, block it.

Same here.
If there's no caller ID, I don't answer the phone.
If it's not a spam call, they can leave a message, which they rarely do.
In the last week, I've gotten about ten calls a day from a 749 area code number.
I also got dozens of calls a few weeks ago from an area code 702 number. They all went unanswered.
