Critical thinking is more about proving theories wrong than proving them right.
Exactly!! Try to attack the theory with alternatives see how it holds up. If it holds up under tight scrutiny probably closer to truth than false hood. The attacks also can help to tweak the theory as well, making it more plausible but you don't prove it..

It is the same place that the myth "all politicians are crooks" comes from.
It is designed to have the same effect, discourage government of, by, and for the people and increase the likelihood of socialist, communist, dictatorial government.
There is only One source of true Freedom and the evil forces hate the thought of anyone being Free.

KPC, if good people are convinced that there are no good politicians, then they tend to stay home instead of voting for a "crooked politician" and the evil forces get their people elected.

There can be a situation where the message of voting third party could be the best use of a vote. If the lesser of two evils has no chance of winning, voting for the right candidate (who has zero chance of winning either) might be a better use of a vote.
