Nascar owners threatened to fire on the spot any employee or driver who does not stand for the National Anthem. Dale Earnhardt Jr.immediately said that he believes people have a right to protest. Well fuq him and the car he rode in on. These owners are patriots and Earnhardt will be dumped from racing in NASCAR if he does not stand. This sport has proven once again that nothing flies above the flag. Funny how it is usually south of the Mason/Dixon line that stands for our country.

People only see their side. If a dozen Target employees decided to exercise their right to keep and bear arms by open carrying during their cashier shift and they get sent home, the left would not be supporting the workers.

There are a lot of rights and freedoms that can't be expressed while you are at work and on the clock.....if you want to keep your job. These athletes, drivers, employees need to understand this, if they want to protest, they can do it on their own time. I'm pretty sure that very few would complain if they (NFL players, NASCAR drivers) would take a knee on a bye week, or other sporting event than the one they are participating in that day, during the National Anthem. If they are participating, they are being paid, on the clock, employees and should be following the direction of their boss or risk being fired. Once fired, they can do their peaceful protest any time they wish, it is their right!!

Good to see leftys defending our rights, they just don't get the part about doing it without taking rights away from people they don't like or ignoring the rights that scare them.

A lot of NFL fans say anyone can drive in a circle and turn left. There are very few NFL players that could drive in a NASCAR race. The drivers are super athletes and have to be in top physical condition to hold up for several hours in a car that is 150 degrees inside and inches off a wall at 200 MPH. One split second not paying attention can end your day. Many pro football player are fat and wouldn't last a fartin' spell in a race car. Many don't have the mental capacity to drive. The pit crew members have to wear Nomex suits, no matter how hot it is. You will see them doing pushups and riding stationary bicycles between pit stops, even while wearing Nomex suits. I would die of heat exhaustion.

Who are the protesters and what are they protesting? NFL players are protesting injustice? Afforded the opportunity to garner a salary that would embarrass even a king and you have a problem with the country that slobbers like Pavlov's dog all over you? The fact that you may have a pituitary problem and can put a round ball in a round hole commands ridiculous amounts of money in which many players can retire after just 3 years of "work", and your protesting what again? The Flag? Protest that which needs protesting. The ghetto's where the poor suffer genuine injustice, your people, thrust upon them through Democrats rule. Where was the injustice and kneeling when that loser ruled the country for 8 yrs. and drove this nation into the pits? Where? I will tell you where. Exactly where they wanted this nation to go, that's where and that is why and all else is weak B.S. Try gainful employment outside sports or Hollywood entertainment. Then maybe you will have something to protest about. No diamond earrings in that forum. This president is not weak and many just can't accept that. This kneeling is not about injustice. This is not about the system. Say it you cowards who kneel before the flag that you despise. This is about black and white, like it, hate it, refuse to own up to it or continue to tell yourself fairy tales so you can sleep at night. Period.

NASCAR is on life support. If somebody took a knee who would know?
