Bannon called that Trump Jr. meeting 'treasonous' and the trump is losing it, because it’s just further proof Donald Trump & his entire mob family are the biggest traitors that have ever existed in the history of the United States of America. Period.

I can't keep this straight anymore. Can someone tell me who the "good guys" and who the "bad guys" are as it relates to the Conservative movement? I could have sworn there were people here who thought it was great when Bannon left the WH so that he could focus on cleaning house with respect to the GOP and moving it in a more populist direction, and this was just part of pushing the Trump/Bannon agenda along. So now that they're fighting, whose side are you guys on?

From: bigeasygator
03-Jan-18
Bannon's quote: "The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor -- with no lawyers. They didn't have any lawyers. Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad s***, and I happen to think it's all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately."

Trump's response: "Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating seventeen candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican Party. Bannon: 2016 Trump Tower meeting was 'treasonous' Bannon: 2016 Trump Tower meeting was 'treasonous' Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn't as easy as I make it look. Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans. Steve doesn't represent my base — he's only in it for himself. Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was. It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books. We have many great Republican members of Congress and candidates who are very supportive of the Make America Great Again agenda. Like me, they love the United States of America and are helping to finally take our country back and build it up, rather than simply seeking to burn it all down."

Well now isn't this precious, we have bigeasyliberal throwing in with bigdumbleftist. Now here is a pair made for easy other!

Bannon himself said he was going to war for Trump when he left. President Trump graciously thanked him. When Stevo attacked The presidents relatives Trump in Trump fashion has attacked without mercy. Now look at the dozens of great accomplishments President Trump has made in less than one year. Great accomplishments for this country foremost and its citizens, but also for conservatism. And here we have a couple of blind and dumb sheep liberals all worried about President Trumps attitude. Both classic and pathetic. A complete non- story but it's all blind dumb sheep liberals have. I mean they can't keep making things up about the Rushkies can they?

Seems to me the worse thing that Bannon said was that they had meetings without Lawyers.

If lawyers are so great how come the Pres who isn't one has had so many accomplishments in just a year.

Almost getting tired of winning as the dow is knocking on the door of 25000.

You're precious, Trax. I'm just wondering who is Team Bannon and who is Team Trump. Lot's of folks on here were singing Bannon's praises. I find statements from the President like "Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency" pretty funny too. You can call it nothing, but regardless of what political hat is worn, when the ex-senior adviser to the President and the President are lashing out at each other, it's a fairly newsworthy thing. I'll count your vote for Team Trump!

03-Jan-18
Remember, this is what is reported to be in a book written by someone suffering from acute TDS and may have little or no relationship to the truth.

Once the arrows start to fly all kinds of stuff gets sideways. I will wait to see what Bannon actually says about his "quotes" and/or whether he sues this author or not.

This is how desperate the blind dumb sheep liberals are. Nobody will remember this 3 bears story a couple of months from now. There is no story! Bannon ran out of usefulness and then was cut. He doesn't like some of the Trumps. Big deal. The base loves our president for what he has accomplished in less than a year, and that President is Trump not Bannon. Now tell us Pauly Z, the America hating poster child for blind dumb sheep. What is "alt right" ? Then I'll tell you in detail what the alt left is that parasites like you represent. Again, this is another example of how desperate the blind dumb sheep liberals are. President Trump has accomplished dozens of great things for we the people and the USA in general. They can't attack him on substance, they have to attack him on made up Rushkies stories or how President Trump responds to the fat gargoyle in North Korea or now how he talks about Steve Bannon. Have you paid attention in the last couple years from the primary on? Sure, he uses inflammatory statements and ridicules those that oppose him. It is his style, like it or not. All I care about is results, and he is on the way to becoming one of the great presidents for this great nation. Working isn't it!

bigeasygator: just to clarify, most of these guys are not Conservative. They are reality tv republicans. Just for my own piece of mind can you stop calling these reality tv republicans Conservative? I Just want to make sure you don't drag the Conservatives through the mud, unless we really deserve it. Neither Trump or Bannon are Conservatives. You can't talk, live, view the world and human beings the way they do and be Conservative. Not to mention inferring that your justice department should investigate political foes or any many other things President Trump does. But it's great for the ratings and some of these guys on CF love drama. Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush and John McCain would be examples of Conservatives. Conservatives try to treat other people with respect even when they don't agree with them and Conservatives win or lose arguments on the merits. If you are on the CF and you often call other people names or disparage them instead of responding to their argument, you are not Conservative. You might want to believe you are or "self-identify" that way. But you're not. Sorry. If you respond to this post with a BOW you are an __________. Well…you know what you are not; )

Sorry bownarrow, your premise may have some merit but you're flat out wrong about multiples. Primarily in calling Mittens, Jebby, and McCain conservatives. Mittens is a moderate with liberal leanings, both Jebby and McCain are establishment Republicans who are more moderate than conservative. Liberal on some issues, moderate on others, conservative on a few but establishment over anything else. President Trump has been rated more conservative than any of them by a long shot, over any of them in terms of what he has done by the ACU. More conservative than Reagan according to the ACU. I had my doubts during the primary too, that's why I supported Cruz and several others over Trump. The proof is in the pudding though, what President Trump has accomplished in his first year is nothing but common sense conservatism. I'm not talking about his personality or even his method always, I'm talking about results.

03-Jan-18
Been working too much today to know this was happening. This is hilarious. Who’s a conservative? Bannon? McConnell? Trump? JaVanka? The Democrats aren’t going to have to do a damn thing. They are just going to have to watch.

Bownarrow, great points and I agree. Use of the term conservative doesn’t reflect who these people are. There seems to be a huge vacuum as it pertains to true conservative leadership in the Republican Party. Thank you Trax and others who are trying to tell the idiots that Romney, McCain and Jeb Bush are NOT conservatives!!

That may be the very stupidest thing Bownarrow has ever said here!

A few years back there was a concerted effort by the commiEs to turn the word conservative into a dirty word, such as lefty, commiE, and liberal became all by themselves. It has met with limited success in certain circles but never as widespread as the lefty terms.

Their complete lack of understanding of what anybody is, including themselves, (ex. "Antifa" stands for antifacists when in fact they are THE facists!!) is indicative of the lala land they all live in.

It's so easy to see Spike, we have assorted leftists and never Trumpers flailing around trying to make things up that could possibly fit their agenda. Bigeasyliberal and his new buddy bow are talking about methods and presentation they doen't like, reality is in the results and accomplishments. Again, it's not just we citizens who are paying attention that can see the BS they'd spreading, it's the ACU. President Trump the most conservative president in modern times, far more so than Reagan according to the ACU. One is truly ignorant if they think the like of Mittens Romney or Jebby Bush or McCain are conservatives. Big establishment Party guys and far more the moderates than conservative. Reagan was also a populist president, and he was quite conservative, but he was also a big Party establishment guy. President Trump isn't an establishment guy, and that more than anything makes him a great leader for this country. Right after in importance his conservative accomplishments in year one of course!

04-Jan-18
For such a conservative, Reagan raised taxes, increased spending and the deficit and advocated for some gun control. Ronnie really and foolishly believed that trickle down would work. If he were alive and saw that billionaires were creating jobs in China (Trump included!) instead of being patriotic, he would admit that it didn't work.

Is trump a conservative? Lets examine:

Conservatives are supposed to be pro-military, but his record proves otherwise. He dodged the draft to avoid military service. He mocked Sen. John McCain for being tortured as a prisoner of war for five and a half years in Vietnam’s so-called Hanoi Hilton. “I like people who weren’t captured,”

Conservatives are the party of "Family Values" however, the “family values” party is now being led by a thrice-married man who bragged about grabbing women by their genitalia. He's also admitted to walking in on teenage girls on his pageant.

Bottom line? Trump is a morally corrupt, dishonest, racially bigoted, senile megalomaniac who put his self interest above everything else including the American people.

BANNON: The President of the United States is a great man. You know I support him day in and day out, whether going through the country giving the Trump Miracle speech or on the show or on the website, so I don’t you have to worry about that. But I appreciate the kind words.

Boonie boy/'Theist from Boone, your a true ignorant Dumb ass.. Obama HATED the military.. he did every thing he could to disgrace it and our men in blue .. our guys in the Military despised Obama by a overwhelming majority ..

Trump loves our Military and does every thing he can to support them .. the proof is in the many poll (yes, some are correct at times, some show as high as 67% support him) that continually show the support Of Trump and his likability, his strength and compassion for them.

On Saturday, July 22, President Donald Trump commissioned the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier. In his speech, he said, “I love our military!” to which the assembled seamen and their families responded with wild applause and cheers.

Do you remember when Obama, said, “I love our military”? Neither do I, because he never said it. I searched diligently for an Obama quote where he even expressed appreciation for our military, but to no avail. The closest I found was when he said he would take care of our veterans (something he failed to do).

I searched through several hundred Obama quotes that mention the military. The only time he showed any passion was when he said, “Climate change constitutes a serious threat to global security, an immediate risk to our national security, and, make no mistake, it will impact how our military defends our country.” The man has no shame. He tries to tie our military to his radical “climate change” claptrap.

Obama even insulted our military men and women: “We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.” Does anyone else smell a whiff of the Hitler Youth in this statement? He thought a “civilian national security force” should have the same power, funding, and weapons as our military! Thank the Lord that he was blocked from keeping this promise.

Obama did make one campaign promise regarding the military that he kept. He promised to cut the size of our military in half, and he did so. It will take years for us to regain the military readiness that Obama squandered.

Why am I talking about Obama when he is no longer in office? Two reasons: (1) He’s gone from the White House, but he’s not really gone. (2) He is, to a large extent, the embodiment of the current Democrat party.

***Look at some obvious contrasts. Republicans love our military as much as President Trump does. ***Democrats (unless they’re running for office in an area with lots of military voters) take every opportunity to bash our men and women in uniform. It was the Democrats who called our soldiers “baby killers,” spat on them and cursed them in the airports when they returned home from Vietnam.

Every time Republicans are in power in Washington, they work to build up our military strength, personnel, and weapons systems. When the Democrats get back into power, they rush to raid the military treasury and spend the stolen funds on “climate change,” federally funded abortions, and brain-washing our children to make them believe that government has the answers to all problems.

Republicans work hard to protect our veterans and see that they get the best care possible after they have given so much to our country. Democrats pay lip service to veterans but remember that Obama did nothing when the incompetence and corruption of the Veteran’s Administration were revealed. Obama refused to fire the corrupt and incompetent employees. And the patriotic whistleblowers at the VA were punished for bringing this shame to light.

There are many other contrasts. For instance...

***I think it is fair to say that, in general, the Democrat Party oppose the Christian religion while supporting Islam (no one knows why except that Obama’s roots are clearly Muslim). Republicans tend to support religious liberty for all, and many are born-again believers.

Democrats tend to think of the maxims of both the Constitution and the Bible as containing suggestions rather than laws, and are thus open to a so-called “Living Constitution” (think “Transformers”), while Republicans revere the Constitution and most believe the Bible is the literal Word of God. This is not to say that a Democrat cannot be a Christian. But it must be hard when your party’s platform advocates for killing the unborn, homosexual “marriage,” and genocide of the elderly – all clearly unbiblical positions.

Democrats sincerely believe that the government should control everything because the elites are much wiser than “we, the people,” and we should, therefore, be grateful that they are willing to tell us every move we should make. Republicans understand that our rights come from God and that therefore the government should serve us – not the other way around.

Democrats demand free “speech” which often manifests itself as intimidation, bombings, beatings, riots, and arson. But when Republicans want to speak (real speech, not rioting), they are shouted down, called racists, bigots and xenophobes and refused police protection and admittance to colleges and other venues. If that doesn’t scare off the Republicans, the Democrats resort to as intimidation, bombings, beatings, riots, and arson.

I could go on with the comparisons, but it would become depressing. So that’s why I felt a leap of joy when I heard President Trump say unashamedly, “I love our military!”

***Finally, after eight years of Obama bashing the military, ruining their morale, and putting them in danger by imposing ridiculous rules of engagement and refusing to give them the equipment they desperately needed – we have a president who loves our military.

******I know lots of military people, and I hear from thousands of others by email and by website comments. There may be some out there who feel differently, but the ones I heard from despised Obama and voted for Trump. According to a Military Times article, *** over 50% rated Obama unfavorably, and only 18% gave him a very favorable rating. **** Over 60% of Marines (well known to be the *most intelligent service members*) gave Obama an unfavorable rating.*** Their complaints included his decision to decrease military readiness; his lack of focus on the biggest dangers facing America (most said China is the most significant threat); and his moves to withdraw combat troops from Iraq, which they said made America less safe. Many accused him of trading our security for political gain, and for allowing the rise of terrorists like the Islamic State.

98% of respondents to the Military Times poll said Obama’s military budget cuts hurt morale and readiness. And the majority of the generals and top Defense Department officials had nothing but negative comments about Obama, including calling him a coward and describing his anti-ISIS plan “unguided by a sustained policy or sound strategy, replete with half-measures.” Overall, among both active duty and retired senior military officers, only 3% describe themselves as Liberal.

So, needless to say, the great majority of our military personnel are ecstatic to have President Trump in the Oval Office. The great majority active duty personnel, retired military personnel, veterans and military family members voted for Trump. And they haven’t changed their views since then. Naturally, Republicans and Independents strongly support him (98% and 47% respectively). And, surprisingly, 10% of Democrat veterans approve of Trump.(Only 9% of military personnel and about the same percentage of veterans identify as Democrat.) It is of vital importance for our national security that we have troops with high morale who are motivated - and feel appreciated. After eight years of being downtrodden and despised by their Commander-in-Chief, it must feel good to have a president who values them – and is not afraid to say that he loves them.

Another blind dumb sheep liberal either spreading ignorance or lies, that would be the one who today calls himself Boone. Which is it Boone, are you really that dumb or know the facts but hope the public doesn't? Reagan dramatically LOWERED taxes, and also agreed to raise taxes during his 8 years. He was dealing with a fat dumb liberal by the name of Tip O'Neil and Reagan and his establishment Repubs felt they had to give to get. The Tax hikes under Reagan were LIBERAL hikes, not what Reagan wanted. Trump has led by cutting and gutting regulation, cutting taxes, placing conservative judges and Justice on the bench and freed the hand of enterprise and business. He is the peoples president, smaller government and pro business conservative. Not what he has always done in the past, not what he always says, but what he has done in his first year. Thank you President Trump!

Sarah Sanders was asked in todays briefing "what specifically is false in the book"? Her answer? "The false claim that the president didn't know who John Boehner was" If that's what she says is the false part, trump is in a whole lotta trouble. And if its all lies, just sue. Simple.

Ryan from atheist continues to chase his own tail. There is no story here, nothing! Tired about talking about the Rushkie invasion so the leftists try some new silly putty. President Trump is angry, Bannon is already backpeddling and claiming daily allegiance to both President Trump and allegiance to conservatism for the good of we the people. If you haven't noticed it doesn't take much to make President Trump angry and he always responds. So that's what you blind dumb sheep are feeding off of? President Trump's anger? You liberals are really a pathetic and ignorant bunch!

There has been no cabal as filthy and corrupt as the Clinton cabal. Just because they haven't been nailed yet means nothing. OBOZO was filthy too, but in a very different way. He was openly setting the stage for this great country to be sold out, the Clintons were doing it covertly, and lining their pockets in the meantime. Both are traitors, the Clintons simply were in power far longer.

"Bannon is already backpeddling"

Backpedaling is a stretch. Bannon never said the things the book claimed he said was false. I heard him say he supported the President, but never did he challenge the quotes that were attributed to him. I'm sure Bannon knows Trump about as well as anyone and the kind words were a way to diffuse the situation -- and they seem to have worked as Trump is know bragging about how Bannon thinks he's a good guy. Never once did Bannon say the book was wrong in anyway...unless I missed that.

This concept might rattle your brain, Steve, but a person can dislike Trump without being a liberal.

This may rattle your brain Rick but I could care less whether or not I like Trump. What I do like is the results he is getting and to me that makes him easily the best president in my life time and that includes Reagan and Truman. Again its about the presidency and not about personality. Trump is one fantastic president that is facing un-believeable opposition that is completely un-deserved and most of it coming from people that hate America. God bless, Steve

Bannon is being cut down and embarrassed to the tenth degree ... much in the book is here say or plain not true ...

Former Trump political strategist Steve Bannon on Sunday expressed “regret” for unflattering comments attributed to him in the recently released Trump White House tell-all “Fire and Fury,” saying he should have responded sooner and that he continues to support the president.

"My support is also unwavering for the president and his agenda,” Bannon said in a statement to Axios.

Fox News later Sunday confirmed the statements with Bannon.

The statements in the book attributed to Bannon, who joined the Trump presidential campaign in the closing months, were most critical of the president’s son Donald Trump Jr., who also was a part of the campaign.

"Donald Trump Jr. is both a patriot and a good man,” Bannon also said in the statement. “He has been relentless in his advocacy for his father and the agenda that has helped turn our country around."

He also said: "I regret that my delay in responding to the inaccurate reporting regarding Don Jr. has diverted attention from the president's historical accomplishments in the first year of his presidency."

Bannon infuriated Trump with comments he made to author Michael Wolff describing a meeting between Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer as "treasonous" and "unpatriotic."

Trump has, since the book was officially published Friday, repeatedly called Bannon “Sloppy Steve” and said he cried when the president fired him last year from his White House strategist job.

But Bannon, in the statement, says his description of the meeting was aimed at former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, not Trump's son.

Fox News’ Serafin Gomez and The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Once again grey liberal joins us to show everybody he can lick his own colon. No point, no intellect, just a punk who can't help but kiss his own azz at every opportunity. Yes blind dumb sheep, Bannon worked from the inside. Then he worked from the outside. That doesn't mean he likes all the Trump's or other operatives who are still inside, he made that known. He got kicked to the ground for that. Now, he's all apologetic and signing Trump's praises. While still on the ground. He can continue to be very useful on the outside as time goes on. Words are words, he has much to prove and done correctly we will never know it. Now pat yourself on the back, that's what you're all about, right? Even when you're wrong, but go ahead and pat yourself on the back!

Spike, what “behavior” has Bannon actually changed. Bannon still seems like the guy he was when Trump brought him aboard. This Bannon issue has less to do with any behavioral change and more to do with a failed power struggle on Bannon’s part. I would wager Bannon’s view of Trump hasn’t changed much if at all since he joined the campaign. I think Bannon always viewed him as more of a vehicle to push his (Bannon’s) agenda than he looked at him as any type of leader.

Bowbender, I don’t know what you mean by what passes “now.” I’ve been on this sub forum about a year now and this is 90% of what I’ve seen. There are a few folks who will engage in actual debate (even then, there is usually still plenty of name calling coming from them), but most of what I see is a bunch of garbage. I’ve learned to look through the posters and hone in on those posts from people who usually post something that is at least mostly authentic and intellectual.

Glad you have that straight from Bannon, bge, I had no idea what was on his mind or that he was really in charge, even it that was only in his own mind! Oh yeah, and yours...
