Imagine had the Democrats not pushed the "Russian collusion" story and touted the Mueller investigation and had just stuck to their usual political game of unified opposition to anything promoted by the GoP or Trump. Perhaps all their dirty laundry could have been kept in the hamper.
Instead, the investigative worm has turned and the proregressive agenda has been derailed.

AM's link to ROTC training reminded me a lot of basic at Ft. Sill in '81. And I wasn't even ROTC. Our drill sgt's were Viet Nam vets as well. And they were rough, and often not fair but they trained us to win. I remember one of the trainers when I went back for AIT (advanced individual training, as a National Guard kid in college I split trained 2 summers at Ft Sill) Sgt Aller was his name he wasn't a drill sgt but a classroom instructor. He told us "I am not here to teach you how to give your life for your country but to teach you how to make the enemy give their life for their country."
