No Go in America

The last statement made as quoted from what the FBI said is incorrect. They do not have the right to conduct these training camps and they do not have the 1st Amendment right to produce the recruiting video.
Would be curious to hear someone else weigh in on the legality. We are blessed to have one of the premier tactical training outfits in the country here near New Orleans (VATA). I’ve taken about a dozen courses with them over the years and every year I take a few more - carbine, rifle, shotgun, CQB, vehicle, active shooter, etc. There are hundreds of these types of tactical training courses across the country. I would doubt that just because a tactical training school was run by, and targeted to, Muslims would make it illegal.
Really?!? You can't be that naive...
Yes, really. You said it was unconstitutional. There are hundreds of schools and camps that Are out there that teach tactical topics, and best as I can tell there are quite a few of them run by people with little to nothing in the way of qualifications.
I understand the optics of a tactical school being run by Muslims for Muslims. What I don’t understand is what makes this unconstitutional. A bunch of would be terrorists woukd be free to take the classes I sign up for and I promise they’d be getting better instruction than what I saw in those videos. So, again, if they aren’t actually plotting terrorist acts what makes it illegal?
Nowhere did I say it was unconstitutional. I said they didn't have the right to do anything that would create a clear and present danger, nor any other wacko training camp whether they be born again Christian (in Idaho), Muslim, Hindu, whatever. Simply commenting on the displayed news report and the connotation it portrayed. Comment on the thread subject if you want a dialog.
A lot of CCW courses involve some form of tactical training in them now. I doubt these camps are teaching people muzzle control for a CCW or home defense course...
You're arguing just for the sake of it.
I’m not arguing for the sake of arguing. I’m trying to understand from a legal perspective how hard it would be to shut down an operation like this. When you get past the fact that it’s a bunch of Muslims, these alleged camps don’t appear to be a lot different than the myriad of tactical/self-defense schools that exist in this country. If there isn’t a law forbidding them from doing this, they absolutely have a right to get together and shoot guns and practice tactical techniques - being Muslim also doesn’t preclude them from this right. I also don’t understand what’s unconstitutional about marketing material for a tactical school that specializes in Islamic military tactics. It’s a serious question about what how these alleged camps would be distinguished from other tactical schools from a legal perspective.
Islamic is a religious and political base. Wouldn't be any different than the danger of a Black Panther training camp and the presence they portray.
Go into an airport terminal and yell 'shooter' or 'bomb' to check your 1st Amendment rights...
Wouldn't be as much alarm if it were an Arabic military tactics training camp. The remoteness and seclusive nature is alarming. Besides - what edge do their tactics give that US military doesn't?
The next question is if they are US Citizens. If not, they don't have the right. The litmus test is, does it present a clear and present danger?
A Muslim training camp for Muslims? In America? Hmmm...
Spike.... Weren't you the guy that called the FBI a bunch of Jack Booted Thugs over the Waco incident ???
David Koresh was stockpiling fully auto weapons and explosives...... and you didn't like the government meddling with them......
Kind of ironic now you want the Government to do something......
I would bet the farm the Feds are watching these areas closely.... It might be a no go for ordinary citizens... but if search warrants are issued U.S. Law will be enforced.....
Whatever dude.... You specifically hate all Muslims....
Spike is so cute when he frets over the Muslim boogie man.

BB, like when he insisted Dearborn MI was a "no-go" zone and was practicing sharia law? That was precious. LOL.
Matt
For sure.... There's nowhere in that city that the Dearborn Police will not go to enforce the laws of the State of Michigan and the U.S.A.,,,,,
Even funnier. The video he posted to start this thread was from
January 14, 2015. A few days after that aired, Fox had to walk back and apologize for their whole "no-go" narrative, because it turned out to be fake news.
Matt

So you link to another conspiracy theory thread to prove this thread is legit?
