Kentucky Medicaid Plan

Did I hear it right, last night the Kentucky Governor was on Fox and commented that the state has approved the plan. The plan will require those receiving medicaid to provide 80 hrs/month of volunteer time or equivalent employment to receive the benefits. It is being sold as a way of providing "dignity" back to the recipients. Conversely, Pelosi said the program removes the recipients dignity.
There we have it, the liberals want to keep the recipients beholden and the conservatives want to provide a way of self support.
The program will have ample opportunities for ANYONE receiving the benefits to serve their 80 hrs/month. He stated that EVERY community has AMPLE opportunities.
There are 10 other states waiting in the wings to implement something similar.
What say you? I love it.

I love it and I like Bevin. He is getting ready to lay out a painful budget. Lots of once thought taboo areas are going to feel the pinch. We have a 168 billion shortfall on the public pension alone. Democrats have ran this state for 100 years and now the piper has to start being paid. It is not going to be pretty but it is time to man up.
