Max Matthew Muhlethaler.
Born January 16, 2018.
Never having been a parent myself, it wasn't until Max was born two-and-half weeks ago that I truly began to understand and appreciate what babies are all about.
This is a photo my wife sent me this morning with her holding 'Mad Max.'
Look at how tiny he is.
Look at how innocent he is.
I have no words that can even begin to express my thoughts and awe.
Congrats Gramps!!
His last name is mouthful, but he's got a good middle name. ;-)
Matt
They are a joy and an effort, mine is now 35 and don't know what I would do without him.
Congrats Kyle! are you gonna get soft on everyone now?

Congrats !! Did your wife have to travel to go see him ?? I see he was born a few weeks ago.
Chris,
My wife was packed and ready to go to Petaluma the minute her daughter was about to deliver.
She got the call the afternoon of Jan. 14 and within five minutes, off she went.
She's coming back home tomorrow.
Very nice !! Congrats again !!!
Congratulations! I have 3 beautiful grandchildren through my wife and my first blood grandson is due to arrive in March/April. Brenda and I will travel to San Diego from Ohio to meet Owen we he shows up.
Congrats Kyle! Enjoy your time with him! Thu grow up fast!
Grandkids are fun. Little 3m will turn into a fine companion for Grandpa Kyle in a short while.
At 10 or 12 you should have him in the field with you...fishing for sure. Get him a bow when he is 12. You will have to say goodbye to all your old hunting buddies because he will need you more than they need you!
Congrats! I second that you shouldn't wait until he's 12
Awe, indeed. I'm not very emotional but I wept when my kids were born. It's overwhelming.
Young Max and I share the same birthday. :)
Congrats Kyle!
A word of advice........DON'T BLINK! (Yes, it goes by that fast..........)
Yup!
I still look at the birth of our daughter as about the happiest day of my life.
Congrats Kyle. Kids, espically ones own have a way of turning even the strongest and hardest of men into mush. I was in awe both days my kids were born.
Just remember this, he will know and remember "who" comes around. If you want him to know you, you gotta be there.
Wow!!!!! God has blessed you!!!!! Steve
Congratulations, Kyle (Grandpa)... to you and your wife. He's beautiful.
So when are you heading to Petaluma with Joanna to be introduced to this fine young man, Kyle?
Kevin,
Hopefully, never! I hate going to California for anything, esp.if means going anywhere near the Bay Area.
I'm gonna' lobby to have them come up here for Easter.
Congratulations. A gift from Heaven, for sure.
Congrats Kyle. I haven't had the pleasure of grandchildren yet.......but if I would have known how much fun kids are I would have had them years before I did. My daughter was just married last weekend.....my son will be in September. I think my days without grandkids are numbered.......
