I watched some of the shooting and it was fun to watch. They were shooting air rifles as well as 22's.

Air rifles? ...I don't think so! They pretty much all shoot Anshutz .22 Cal rifles specifically built for the Biathalon. They only cost 6-8 grand! I'd love to have one just for the amazing accuracy.

They would NEVER have a more than 5 shot mag, they get 5 shots at a station, the gun is checked at the end and if it contains a live round, they get penalized A LOT
