The mom shot the guy and he dropped his shotgun. when he go his hands on mom, the daughter shot him again with her hand gun. Mom shouldn't have let that guy get so close to her but I am thinking she may have been out of bullets if that was a five shot revolver. Daughter backed up mom nicely and the guy is in the hospital in critical condition.

Those ladies were 1 or 2 elements from disaster. Why do we need high capacity firearms? Because sometimes you run out of your small caliber bullets and are about to get pistol whipped to death.

Atheist and other pro gun control advocate...no disrespect intended but I have a question for you. In this case of the mother and daughter fighting off the perp, what may have been the outcome if they were law abiding citizens that had guns that were restricted by load capacity {hypotheticly speaking} and the criminal had a high capacity ammo weapon {since criminals don't care what the law states}? With your reasoning about gun control you are assuming the criminal would abide by the law.
There's no other conclusion to come to if you support gun control laws.

I still haven't got an answer yet. If the mother and daughter were restricted to amo capacity what may have been the outcome? Especially if there were 2 or 3 perps...oh I forgot, the perps wouldn't have high capacity weapons if we ban them ...right?

Mom and daughter need to go for training, they got extremely lucky one or both didn't die. The daughter saw the guy coming and was indecisive and hesitated on pulling the gun, lack of confidence with the gun. Once the guy left and then came back the mom did fine shooting but she should have shot til he dropped. Once the bad guy came back and grabbed mom the daughter shoots and mom is lucky she didn't get shot. It worked out for them but it could have gone terribly wrong.
